Oh man what a game. That place was jumping since Frank Thomas threw out the first pitch.

That first inning was the best thing in sports I've ever seen in person. The fans here were so into the entire game.

Pods, AJ, Konerko, and Jose all got curtain calls. The place was blown away after Scotty's homer. The crowd was chanting Scotty! Scotty! for the entire time between innings.
He didn't want to go out for his curtain call, either. Konerko, Buehrle, and AJ had to physically push him out there to do it.

It was such a fucking blast. 8 off Clement, 6 off their pen...it was great. The only reliever we didn't hit up for at least 1 run was Bradford, surprisingly.

In the bottom of the 8th there was a loud "WHO'S YOUR DADDY? *CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP* chant....hilarious.

What a great fucking day. Hopefully Buehrle has a similar outing tomorrow and we can put up enough runs to get the win tomorrow. Going into Fenway up 2-0 would have me feeling pretty good.
