Holy crap, Pettitte should have "Homer"ed, another 4 runs on Palmeiro's "Grand Slam". This IS a game of inches. This is insane.

I would have literally screamed out while I was on a call if Palmeiro's hit was a Grand Slam
 
God damn, I wish I was watching this game.

Apparently the Astros have been robbed what, 3 or 4 times of homeruns?

Wanna know why? Because we go to the playoffs every year and play like we're playing right now. People have given up hope of them ever getting back to the series. Not saying its right, but thats how many feel out here.

Atlanta's bullpen just isn't gonna cut it in the playoffs. I was hoping we'd have a shot at atleast beating the Astros, but I don't think that's gonna happen - even with their lackluster offense.

5 of those runs scored off the Braves bullpen. Houston were 25th this season in runs scored. They aren't a good offensive team, so don't try to be cute.
 
Great win for the Stros :D I feel pretty damn good with Clemens on the mound tomorrow and our O proving it can win with small ball in the playoffs,complete opposite of last year.

Baggy getting that rbi single put a huge grin on my face.

Ah, good times for the stros'. I'm ashamed that i gave up on them about a week before the infamous "tombstone" Chronicle article http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/bb/astros/3206280 . I should have known we had some good karma coming after Beltran stuck it to us in the offseason. Luckily i was back in full swing around the all-star break :lol.

Speaking of, i was watching the game at Hooters earlier with some friends and saw a guy wearing an astros tombstone shirt, would have asked him where he got it but that table got booted when one of them got a tad too friendly with their waitress lol.
 
the error certainly helped the white sox but the big thing was the super-quick 5 pitch inning by buerhle right before their rally.
 
Can't believe it...BOS is 6 outs from falling down 0-2 in the series.

All because of ONE fucking error. They were cruising, and it should be fucking 4-2 still. Unbelievable.
 
Well, I can't say that I'm really surprised, being a long time Braves fan. But that was a horrible game to attend in person. I was so pissed that I stopped wanting to drink beer.

Personally, I think the midget was more important than Pedro. Notice that the times they made it to the postseason with Pedro but no midget? Then look what happened when they added the midget.
