Oh man, what a great feeling I have right now.

I was at the stinker of the Texans game and there was some people who had a portable television on the lower level. I don't remember anything about the last 7:30 of the Texans game. During that time Berkman hits his grand slam and this huge chorus of cheers errupted below me and I was like "What?? WHAT???". Then they put it on the screen. 6-5. Berkman: Grand Slam. Then a little later on Ausmus hit his epic homer and the place really exploded. I want to watch the Astros game SOOOOOOOO bad (ended up seeing the game from the 10th) at the point.

Unbelievable win... I don't know how we pulled it out.

Thanks man,I would have wanted your team to destroy the hell out the Cards if they had beat us.

Astros and Braves have always been classic battles,you have to have respect for teams like that and teams that always win and make it to the playoffs.

Furcal at second would be a waste of that arm.

Do the Braves need to resign Giles this year too? I thought he was up, but haven't heard any talk about it.

I'd be willing to let one of those two go, since Betemit is awesome, but obviously would like both to stay around.

Beyond that, the outfield is in great shape, and the starters are all okay....so lets get crcking on that Bullpen.

Furcal is pretty much as good as gone. I bet the Mets do sign him. Starters are pretty good for next year as long as Smoltz' neck heals. Get some reliable bullpen help, Schuerholz, I'm beggin ya.

Anyways-I can't figure the Braves out. Great talent on paper,they whip ass during the season but they just do not get it done in the playoffs. Is Bobby Cox safe,or is it time for a change?

Pettitte was sent to Atlanta the day before as a precaution incase we lost, he wouldn't have to travel with the team and be in a rush to get there.
