well, duque makes his first white sox start in 45 minutes. our first three starters all put out quality starts the first three games. let's see if he can make it 4
 
I fucking HATE this! The Phillies should be 4-0 right now, but our bullpen can't pitch! Not only that, Manuel can't manage the bullpen at all!

Utley should be playing damnet!

i'm not sure what it is, but i LOVE watching duque pitch. some of his pitches are so damn filthy.

another great game from our starter. duque has gone 5 so far and allowed 1 run. i love our starting staff.

Did something happen? I've been following the Reds game on Yahoo, and they had the score 2-1 in favor of the Reds. Now it says 3-1 in favor of Houston. Damn

Yahoo just never had the score right,it was 1 nothing stros and the reds got a run back to tie.It went a few innings tied and Clemens hit a 2 run single and the stros are up 3-1 as of now.

orlando duque hernandez....7 innings, 1 run, 6 hits. retired 7 in a row.


so far our starting rotation:
27 IP, 4 runs, 20Ks

outstanding. i'mma have to cop me a Hernandez jersey. I have Buehrle, Konerko, and Rowand jerseys....but for some reason, again i can't explain it, i LOVE watching orlando pitch.

The old man Clemens still has it 7 innnings,9k's only 1 earned run and 2 rbi's from himself.

I just wish this stros team can find some more O and HR's :(

Well, it was a good game. Heartbreaking that we had to ground out the final AB. We should be won. Bases loaded, foulke was foulking up big time. The place was electric, but Orlando Hudson had to finish his 0-5 night and ground out. Such a close close game, we should have won it, and gained some respect, now we're fighting from behind this series. I think we'll win tomorrow (1:05, watch the game!).
 
I enjoyed the game too. I need to get used to the darker stadium. I kind of like the neon green astro turf because it was brighter.
 
Wasn't at the game but the Jays should have won if Hudson gave the at bat some time since there was a high chance of the tieing-run and maybe even winning run being walked-in.

Oh well, still entertaining, and the bottom of the 9th was pretty intense.

Nice BS win. You know your lucky when Clemens drives in two runs. And the Reds with classic stupid ass basestealing with runners on 1st and 3rd and no one out and can't even score. I swear if there were throwing a fucking basketball up there, the Reds couldn't hit it. Kearns brings out the Golden Sombrero. And it seems like everyone else K'ed at least twice. I swear if we get a decent trade for any of our outfielders, I would take it.

Yes its always a BS win when Clemens is mowing down hitters left and right and you get a Randa HR for your lone run :lol

Yes the 2 run rbi single was bs/luck,but your team not putting ups runs against Clemens,well thats not bs,thats just getting owned by a legend.

Ortiz gave up as many runs as Clemens did, so its not your team got anything off us either. THat's okay, we'll take the next two because without Clemens you got no one.
 
:lol Our starting pitching and closer is a hell of a lot better than yours and good pitching most of the time beats good hitting.

Difference with Ortiz and Clemens,Clemens had to face a much better lineup.Ortiz was facing rookies,a couple of decent vets mixed in and didnt have to deal with our best hitter Berkman.

Your own lineup would destroy Ortiz,him shutting down this Astros offense isnt saying much.
 
Man, that Dodgers game was scary. I last see us up 4-2 in the 7th and then finally catch the final score and about died when I saw it was 8-7. JD Drew is now 0-17 with 2 walks.. fuck man, you're not doing a good job representing FSU! :(
 
I knew Wright was gonna suck, and I think he's only going to get worse. How about Assrod with an nice fat 0 for 5 with 7...7...7.. LOB.
 
Oh shit, I'm here praying today Melvin Mora snaps out of his terrible opening week funk and he's up against Randy Johnson. :( Just what he needs, another 0-4 day to augment his 1-17 start at the plate.

Any Orioles fans (hah) around that know if anything is wrong with him? As long as he's not labouring or slightly injured I'm not that worried. At least the guy I traded for him (Rolen) isn't playing much better to start the year.

Yeah but our 1 and 2 are better than your 4 and 5, and that's what you'll be up against today and tomorrow.

And our lineup sucks. If our players could actually get CONTACT with the ball one third of the time they strike out, we would be up by 4, 5 runs many games.

If Dunn, Griffey, Kearns, and Pena played an entire season I GUARANTEE all 4 of them would be in the top 10 in the NL in strikeouts. I'm so hoping two of them get traded this year for some decent pitching. Hopefully Griffey (of course) and either Kearns or Pena. Dunn leads the world in strikeouts, but has a lot more power than any of the other guys.

We have guys down in Triple A who can hit for power, and crappy averages so its not like these guys aren't a dime a dozen. We need more pitching and guys who can actually hit for CONTACT.

You cubs fans are all the same. You keep hoping for something thats never gonna happen. The bears and the cubs have one mighty thing in common, they both suck. My Milwaukee brewers are due for their spot in the sun. But its all good. The cubs and the brewers are both rivals. It should be interesting to see who wins out this year. The best of luck to your cubs because as you already know, they'll need it. :lol
