Damn, every time Duaner Sanchez comes into the game, I just get this feeling he's gonna fuck up.. I have no confidence in him right now. Bring on Schmoll and co!

Come on Milton, be the hero again! :D

Ahaha sweet. Let's score 1 more so Yhency can still get a save for my fantasy teams and call it a night! :p Ahh Choi's up, I guess we'll have to stick with 2 runs :p

MOTHAFUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COME ON YHENCY, 1 More out!

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12-2, WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

P.S Whoever designed those Padres uniforms should be publicly excuted stat! UGH! =X

Woot, Dodgers are #1 in the real Power Rankings (naturally). I hope they're wrong about Kolb, I've got that bitch in two leagues!

1. Los Angeles Dodgers: Jim Tracy is 18-4 in extra-inning games since the start of 2004. Safe to say he's off the hot seat.

2. Chicago White Sox: Life on a high wire: Ozzie Guillen calls out the Big Hurt and goes to closer-by-committee.

3. Boston Red Sox: Wade Miller hopes his first start comes before May. Bronson Arroyo is the best bet to go to the bullpen.

4. St. Louis Cardinals: Just wait until Walker (.211), Pujols (.286), Rolen (.200) and Edmonds (.273) start hitting. Scary.

5. Minnesota Twins: Let's hope Justin Morneau is able to make a full recovery after getting hit in the head with a pitch.

6. Baltimore Orioles: Over/under on Brian Roberts' home runs this season is 25. We're still taking the under.

7. Atlanta Braves: Wouldn't shock us to see Chris Reitsma (1.29 ERA) replace Danny Kolb (9.00) as the closer.

8. Washington Nationals: Frank Robinson calls out ESPN? After what he's been through in Montreal, we forgive him.

9. Los Angeles Angels: Devastating combo this season: K-Rod (12.60 K's per nine) and Scot Shields (12.91).

10. Philadelphia Phillies: Stat of the season so far: Jim Thome, no home runs in 50 at-bats. We feel a breakout coming.

11. Florida Marlins: Struggling Mike Lowell takes a seat for Damion Easley. How is this possible?

12. San Francisco Giants: Barry Bonds back by June, July, August? Might be time to deal a young arm for a left fielder.

13. Oakland Athletics: A's have traveled an MLB-high 57,000 miles already this season, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

14. Toronto Blue Jays: Prospect watch: John-Ford Griffin has four homers and a league-high 12 RBI at Triple-A Syracuse.

15. Cincinnati Reds: Junior is homerless in 42 at-bats. Thought Great American Ball Park was supposed to be a homer haven.

16. New York Yankees: Opponents are hitting .317 off Yankee starters and .307 off relievers. Mel Stottlemyre might consider early retirement.

17. Texas Rangers: Alfonso Soriano needs to pipe down and begin to trust that Buck Showalter knows what's best for him.

18. New York Mets: Enough is enough: Send Kaz Matsui to the bench, and make Miguel Cairo the starting second baseman.

19. Detroit Tigers: Exavier Prente Logan: Speedy Nook getting long look as an everyday center fielder.

20. Chicago Cubs: Give us a holler when Nomar Garciaparra reaches the Mendoza line. Terrible!

21. Cleveland Indians: They have just two wins from their starting pitchers thus far. Ah, not good.

22. Houston Astros: Don't be suprised to see Willy Taveras steal 40-plus bases in this his rookie year.

23. San Diego Padres: Jake Peavy will win a Cy Young Award sometime in the next three seasons.

24. Seattle Mariners: Jamie Moyer (3-0, 3.00) appears to be back on track after a dreadful year in '04 (7-13, 5.21).

25. Arizona Diamondbacks: Hands down, Royce Clayton has the worst hair in the big leagues. What is up with that 'do?

26. Milwaukee Brewers: Locking up Ben Sheets to a four-year contract extension will pay dividends for their future.

27. Kansas City Royals: We crave for Lima Time again. Buried in K.C., we haven't heard even a peep from one of our all-time faves.

28. Tampa Bay Devil Rays: Whenever Dewon Brazelton (0-3, 6.75 in three starts) is on the mound, it's simply a matter of chuck 'n duck!

29. Pittsburgh Pirates: Who really cares, but it's worth mentioning that Jose Mesa (4-for-4 in save opportunities) is closing the deal when given the chance.

30. Colorado Rockies: It's gonna be a long year in the Mile High City, but at least the locals have rookie Clint Barmes (.429-4-10 in 13 games) to hold their interest.

Low total for the Brave-Nats matinee, Smoltz vs. Patterson (whoever that is): 7.5 runs.

I'm going to let my winnings ride on the under againl

Garciaparra (groin) out 2-3 months

Nomar Garciaparra was placed on the 15-day disabled list Thursday. The muscle pulled away from the bone, trainer Mark O'Neal said. The shortstop and team will decide soon whether he should have surgery.

What the hell is wrong with my brewers and yankees? Why does God torment me so. I must go out now and sacrifice ten cows in the brewers name. perhaps they will win a game.

I must've woke up in the Mirror Universe.... Astros lead the league in steals.

:lol yea its a strange thing to see,I mean I expected them to run and I expected Willy and Adam to steal some bases, but I never expected Lane to have five at this point.

That Nats game was a fucking disgrace. They were fucking mud wrestling and the umps wouldn't delay or call the game. Fucking Guzman was slipping in the mud and shit. What a fucking disaster.

Lane, Berkman and Willy is actually going to be a very strong outfield.

So, I was going to see when the Cubs played tonight but I noticed they got shut out today. So I read up on the game and found out the Cubs leave tons of runners on base in scoring position again, and Dusty makes more bone headed moves. Watching the Cubs is like watching a soap on TV. You can take a week off and still know what is going on!

Damn, the Nats choke... and I wanted to say the Braves were last in the NL EAST too...
Haha... no. That honor belongs to the METS. M-E-T-S. Get used to the view, too. I highly doubt anyone else in the division is gonna suck worse than the Mets do.

On the mend, Houston edition: Astros outfielder Lance Berkman, coming back from off-season knee surgery, took part in the pregame workout and could be activated in time for a weekend series against St. Louis.

"So far, so good," Astros general manager Tim Purpura said. "He felt confident out there."

The Astros were toying with the idea of having Berkman serve a rehabilitation assignment with Class AA Round Rock. After watching him go through his paces on Wednesday, that seems unlikely.

"We'll see how he feels and the likely course is that he'll come with the club to St. Louis," Purpura said.

SIR LANCE A LOT I HAVE MISSED YOU!

So.. how many more years are we stuck with Mussina?

Team option after the 2006 season. I'm pretty sure they'll take the buyout rather than pay Mussina $17 million.

Jeets bails Barf Gordon out in the 7th.

You don't realize that we're all at .500 don't you?

come on Rios.... damn you Jays don't tease me with the makings of an almost comeback against Rivera.

FUCKERS. Talk about letting one get away. :(

are you shitting me? The Yankees signed Mussina for $19 MILLION A YEAR? Even when he was in his prime, he wasn't worth anywhere near that. WTF were Georgie boy and Cashman thinking?

I didn't post after last night's disgusting blowout, but I'll show up after this one. Tough loss....because we crawled back and we got hits off Mariano.

It was frustrating. My voice is sore. Cory Koskie let us down big time with that awful GIDP to mussina. Hopefully the weekend can go better.

If only the Jays had pulled it out!

And wow, when Matsui came to bat for the first time of the game, every Japanese person I saw whipped out a camera and went silent

Wow

Just goes to show that long term deals can be killer

Pads are starting to look tough.

Roberts and Loretta looking ruthless at the top of the order and having those three hammers in a row just about guarantees you an rbi every couple of innings.

Klesko himself is 3 for 3 with a couple of rbis. Can't believe they pull him in the 5th inning though. I know they always replace him late in games for defense but the guy is smoking right now!

The Pads are also pitching like devils at home. That is awesome to see. Sub 2 staff ERA at PETCO. WOW.
