2 more runs in the top of the 9th for the mets

"And most of the fans that were left are now headed for the exits." :lol :lol :lol :lol

Good all around hitting from the Mets tonight-great team effort. And Heilman continues to impress. Glad they didn't unload him for some ham and egger.

:lol!

Bob: Cubs, 13-18 Yanks 14-19! Mets will finish demolishing the Cubbies! Such demoralizing losses will take them to a 13-149 season!

Is Dustry trying to just piss everybody in Wrigley off by putting in Hawkins in crucial, high-pressure situations?

Hell we'll take Hawkins off your hands if you'll take Danny Graves. Stupid fuckhead blew another good lead last night. Blew a 6 run lead a week ago and a 4 run lead last night. He's gettin booed pretty hard here lately.

Milwaukee has a bad reliever too. His name is Julio Santana and he has a fucking ERA of 11.79!!! The worst part about it is that Ned Yost puts him in when the brewers actually have a chance of coming back. Against the Mets the brewers were tied and Ned yost decides to put Julion in. I knew what was coming. Smack!! Two home runs of that piece of shit.

Cubs fans shouldnt complain anyways. Flat landers get what they deserve and you guys deserve having baseball teams that implode on themselves year after year (both the cubs and the white sox do this without effort).

It's become a sick twisted game he plays in absence of his battleship board at the ballpark. We moan, shed tears, even laugh a little. Latroi blows it on que, and Dusty throws an acted and well practiced fit.

Wouldn't it have been nice if Tino never left, and there never was a Giambi?

Have you guys looked at Tino Martinez's stats over the last few years? He's one of the weakest 1B's in the league.

Which spin do you prefer..

A) It was easy to ignore as Giambi and his tumor were just ripping shit up.

or

B) I must have missed it when Tony Clark was striking out every at bat in the playoffs.

:lol The game started at 7:07. I'm home now at 9:45

Good win by the Jays....what a crazy night. Two complete games, the game itself only took 1 hour and 44 minutes. That's got to be a record, at least for this season.

Dammit! Stop winnings when the yankees win!

BAAAAAAAH! I had some hope we could win this game but Tracy and his retarded ass decisions. After getting hammered in the 4th you'd think Erickson would be done and we'd be down only a run. But he decided that wasnt enough so he left him in there to give up a 3rd Homerun to make 7-3! WOOOO! Fuckin pathetic ass offense......

That's IT. Get Erickson out of the god damn rotation IMMEDIATELY. Alvarez is back and it's time for him to be starting again. Where is Edwin Jackson?! Argh, argh, argh.

I've been waiting for Edwin since spring training but apparently he's been getting roughed up a little bit. In AAA he is 2-2 with an ERA over 7.0

Rc:
I'm slightly encouraged by our offensive thus far, we have 4 runs on 7 hits thru 5.

Im pissed at the fact that it's there one day and gone the next. They need to show some consistency in the offense.

P.S As im posting this Choi crushes one. :lol :sigh:

Why is Wang charged with the third run? Sexson reached off Gordon and came around to score because Gordon is a fucking scrub.

Edit: Damn you, Rule 10.18.G! You got off the hook this time, Gordon, you son of a bitch.

Choi has been super hot lately.. but I just cant trust that he'll keep it up. Who knows, maybe DePo was right and he'll turn out to be consistent. I was happy to see him get a walk earlier tonight.. that was the reason we went after him before, his impressive OBP.

:lol

Two losses in a row agains the Devil Rays for the White Sox! :lol

Houston, we have a problem. The White Sox have come down back to earth!

Here is the scary thing White Sox fans: Despite your hot start the Twins are still on your tail. One bad series against them and its over. :D

Yhency is a baller! Gotta feel bad for the kid with Gagne coming back soon.. he's an ace closer anywhere in the league and now he'll have to go back to set-up. Can you imagine if we had him and still had Mota? Starters wouldn't ever have to go more than 6 innings!

Hopefully Yhency doesnt have any problems moving into the set-up role for Gagne. It's also nice to see the McCourts decided to keep $2 Tuesdays despite the crap that went down last game.

What happened? We just had our $2 day today, went on without a hitch, but on prior days there's been a lot of drunk guys who got kicked out of the stadium.

Jose Reyes is not MLB ready right now. He needs more seasoning in AAA. He looked absolutely brutal tonight vs Maddux, like he had no clue at the plate.

His numbers so far on the year:

.252 BA
.277 OBP <--- disgusting
.371 SLG
.648 OPS

And a 27/4 KK/BB ratio. Wow. That is absolutely non existant plate discipline.

And the Mets continue to give this guy the most at bats of any player on the team by getting him to hit leadoff every single game. :lol

I agree that Reyes could use some time in the minors, but I also think he isn't a natural lead-off man and that he's being shoehorned into a role that doesn't suit him. Sure, he looks like a prototype lead-off hitter at first glance because of his speed, but if you're a free swinger who won't walk and strikes out way too much it's not worth it to try to make him lead off IMO.

Better yet, try explaining why I'm going! :lol

They have group discounts for these afternoon starts, and a lot of schools go. Last time we had a 12:37 start (all Jays game start 2 minutes later for some reason...maybe it's for attention) it was a getaway day, so that the team didn't get in to the next city too late at night, but since tomorrow's an off day, I can't explain this one, other than to say it's so that schools can attend.

Someone explain to me why the Blue Jays game starts at 12:37. Larry David would be proud.
Here in Canada we use Metric time, so the noon start (aka, 10:100pm) looks funny in Imperial time.

Trade him to the Cubs.
