I'm convinced... the baseball fans of America pick the National League team to lose. It's hilarious how much better the American League roster is.

And don't get me started on who got snubbed and who shouldn't be in.

Digusting is all I can think of it sum it all up
 
I'm cheering for the NL! 2 Jays are on the AL.....but 7 Red Sox/Yankees are on the team as well, so I'm behind the NL.
 
Larry walker finished FIFTH in NL outfielder voting (as if Edmonds getting a start wasn't bad enough). Are St. Louis fans retarded? And if thats not bad enough, LaRussa says he wants to start one of his own guys in the allstar game. Over Dontrelle Willis or Roger Clemens. There has to be something in the water out there.
 
Bring on the Braves! I'm looking forward to this series because we always play the Braves tough. It's too bad we are gonna help out the Nationals by winning 4 straight over the Braves! :(

There is something... right and just about Patterson ending the game by grounding into a double play. And by right I mean typical.

POS is going to rot on my bench all season. I won't trade him and I won't drop him, because if I do either he'll pull his head out of his ass.

I wish I knew a Orioles fan, so I could rub their faces in it. I mean, EVERYONE knew they were going to collapse and their pitching was going to remember who they were (injuries hurt them sure, but still) and they wouldn't be first in the ALEast for long. Sadly the only 3 or 4 Oriole fans in existence don't post here, they just write bitter emails to the cnnsi baseball writers for not respecting the team. Although I doubt they've been emailing much the last 2 weeks. ;)

can anyone explain to me why so many of the idiots on sportscenter/baseball tonight are acting like Jason Giambi is some kid of feelgood/underdog comeback story? Its not like he survived cancer or anything. He's a dirty cheater, and he brought this all on himself.

Well, a little bit of good and bad news came out of Dodger camp today. First, the bad news. As expected, Izturis was placed on the DL.
Izturis was placed on the disabled list retroactive to Thursday, meaning he'll be eligible to be activated shortly after the All-Star break. He will attend the All-Star game next Tuesday, although Tracy said it's doubtful he'll play.

For the Good news, Drew won't need surgery on his wrist.

The Dodgers learned Tuesday that Drew won't need surgery and is expected to return in about two months. Drew had a cast placed on the wrist Tuesday and will go back to the doctor in two weeks for a checkup.

It really is amazing how beat up we've been all year long. We currently have Gagne, Bako, Bradely, Ledee, Valentin, and Alveraz on the DL. On top of that, Werth, Perez, and Penny have spent a significant amount of time on list.

Other notes for Dodger Fan, according to ESPN insider, we are looking at Lawton or Wilson via trade.
 
i saw that clip of Drew's injury, did the ball hit his wrist? Cause it was hard to tell but it didn't look like it. If he broke his wrist on a simple check swing, he really is Mr. Glass.
