it's all randy's fault as far as i'm concerned.

Yeah, it is. He just can't put hitters away like he used to. A lot of 2 strike counts and still they scored. Bah. Of course, I was most pissed when Gordon allowed the sac fly on an 1-2 count on a pitch that caught wayyy to much of the plate. That's when I knew what was coming.

i think it's do or die for torre. if they dont make it into the post season or get knocked out in the first round i think torre goes so steinbrenner can get pinella.

edit: i do think a large part of blame should be placed on torre. the team just seems lazy and doesnt play with any sort of fire. i blame posada more than randy, posada has killed this team all year long.

WHAT THE HELL DOES POSADA HAVE TO DO WITH LAST NIGHT'S LOSS!?!? and excuse but we have had like five injuries to the starting rotation. so i think somwe credit has to go joe's way (not that he ahsnt made mistakes) and pinella!? *pffft* yeah, that'll work. a maniac screaming at a bunch of all-stars.

Jesus CHRIST. Good thing I decided not to go to tonight's game!

I did... however... get tickets to FRIDAY NIGHT'S GAME AGAINST THE RED SOX MOTHERFUCKERS! WOOOOHAHAHAHA! I will be in FULL Yankee garb!

jesus, where did this contreras come from? his last 7 starts his ERA is under 2.

so far 7 shutout innings tonight. crazy.

I would just like to find out if Yankee fans ever thought they'd hear the Baseball tonight folks say "This was a very important game for the Yankees, they really pulled it out to beat the Devil Rays"

Contreras goes 7.2, 0 ER. if he can stay like this for the postseason....Buehrle, Garcia, Garland, Contreras start, Duque/McCarthy out of the bullpen. Not too shabby.

Biggio for president! Watching Wagner get owned late in the season reminds me of his last year with us and the Giants owning him...dude sucks when shit is on the line.

Not pertaining to the game today...but the Mets must see this in their nightmares.

I'd only start contrares if it was an emergency situation in the playoffs. El Duque should start over him.

duque has looked so old recently though...also depends on who we play.....

Ichiro may be a God, but he's not 2005 NL Rookie of the Year In Waiting Jeff Francouer, who tied for the lead in outfield assists despite the fact that he has played less than half a year.

Shhh...

You guys are probably gonna lose out in the first round, too. Especially if you play Oakland.

:lol

Raoul Duke, are you in Atlanta? Gonna go see Clemens v Smoltz game 1? :)

I'll go see Pettitte v Hampton or whoever your 3rd starter is when the series gets back to Houston.

:( I don't want to have to play you guys in round one again. Your pitching terrifies the shit out of me.
It better!

Code:
 	Player TEAM	ERA
R Clemens	HOU 1.57
C Carpenter	STL 2.28
A Pettitte	HOU 2.42
J Patterson	WSH 2.44
D Willis	FLA 2.52
R Oswalt	HOU 2.84

3 out of the top six in era (in the NL, top 7 in the MLB). That's sickening!

2.30 combined ERA for our top 3 guys, just imagine if unlike last year we have the wild card locked up in the last week of the season and can rest our pitchers to hit Atlanta with a Oswalt, Pettite, Clemens 1,2,3 punch.

Our pitching may scare the shit out of you, but our batting scares the shit out of me. :(

:( Miguel you're starting to think like me,welcome to my club.

:lol if we play oakland we are FUCKED. but they're out of the playoffs if the season ended today....so i need to pray that continues.

the bad thing is we have a 3 game set with the Angels this weekend....and we have Buehrle and Garland going....i don't see us laying down :(

oh, and the "white sox finish with a better record than the cubs" magic number is down to 4.

but I'll wait till we clinch to make you guys pay.

love it while it lasts, because next year once teams figure out Francour is a potential strikeout machine, he'll turn into another shea hillenbrand.

With Orlando Hudson done for(most likely) the rest of the season, the Jays turn from dying to a rotting husk.

O-Dog's already proven he's the best 43rd round pick ever(high praise, I know.) If he doesn't come away with a Golden Glove this year, fuck the MLB.

P.S.: Who do you think will win the AL Rookie Of The year-Chacin,Hill, or Adams? :D

Cubs are making their final push, bitches.

Cubs will win their 7 remaining games agianst the stros so the cubbies are as good as tied for the wild card!

Oh yeah and GO INDIANS. KEEP THE STANKEES OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS. :D

"The Chicago Cubs look like the best team out there when you just look at the stats," says Gaming Age Forum user 'MrBob,' "But when you see it move and it looks exactly like the 2002 version in motion it makes you go :("

Preach on brotha. The Tribe is TEARING it up out there.

Just a s a sign of faith i'm wearing my Tribe authentic jersey as I type this. It's a good day to be a baseball fan in Ohio.

The Aeros are kicking ass in their playoffs, Tribe's showing the MLB what a small market team can do... except when Millwod pitches. ERGH! That still irritates me.
