When Kobe didn't get the ball, they relaxed too much :lol

phil should start running plays based on that :lol
reminds me of the thunder and phx games in the playoffs last year

when kobe missed everyone was so fixated on kobe that they forgot about pau and ron :lol

How do you lose to this..

The hilarious thing is if the Clippers had just broke even on those two free throws earlier, it would be going to OT. They lost because they went to the free throw line and fell behind by another point.

That was hilarious. They lost because someone hold the ball too long at the FT line. :lol

As bad as Pau looked he still had a double double and five assist.

Meaningless stats. He was terrible tonight. You cannot allow a dunk on the last possession. Same shit he did in the Pacers game.

They are only a pain the ass because they are disagreeing with you though. If a drive by poster jumped in here and started spouting everything you believe and support, you'd welcome him as a voice of reason and declare him an invaluable poster in this thread. It's all perspective. I just want people to participate, even if they sweep in, talk shit about a team I like, and vanish. Some people have too much shit to do to live in this thread, I don't begrudge them for only showing up when something happens that excites them. I'm just glad they are getting excited by basketball.

We light everyone up here, regardless of team affiliation and/or perspective.

Congrates, you've been posting in a gaf thread about basketball for 3 years. Clearly you are ready for a job as an NBA analyst. :lol
Take your own advice, ignorance is indeed ugly. Especially when mixed with such blatant arrogance.

Wah wah wah wah wah. I can't believe Papa Crimson calls me out for my shit. Wah wah wah wah wah.

Seriously, post more. I'm a nice guy. You'll see how quickly I'll start treating you well once you start making better posts. I love all the NBA-gaf family. Come here and start talking nonsense and I'll bomb on you.

Deal with it and improve your post game or pull a Lebron and take your talents elsewhere.

Are you really that ignorant to how high school sports works for highly recruited athletes that go on to become big name pros? I don't want to believe so... Just gonna ignore this. (Get over it)

Yes. I'm sure he didn't make millions on the side with his deal with ESPN that he made either. Nor did he rake in cash for plugging Vitamin Water and University of Phoenix at the same time. He did it for the kids.

This is why people are thinking you're willfully ignorant. The Boys & Girls club got some money, yeah, but enormous profits, the majority of the money, went elsewhere. Cmon man.
Don't get it twisted, I'm one of the people that'd love for Miami to figure shit out and play some beautiful basketball. I'm also not a person who likes to walk around talking shit with their eyes closed.

Has he got faster? Bigger, stronger? Yes. His shooting has gone from terrible, to merely streaky - but please tell me one aspect of his game that's improved since Paul Silas' departure.

Oh, and the Hornets used to fuck up the Heat.

The high school thing? I was just making a point. I have no problems with A-Rod, and that was my point. So I don't know what I'm supposed to be getting over, but you're taking a sports conversation way too seriously. No need to start insulting.

Did he make money off of it? I have no idea, hopefully for his sake he did. Where the majority of the profits went, I won't pretend to know, nor will I call you ignorant for insinuating that you know. And yet, does it even matter? I really don't care how much money people make, unless it comes from the taxpayer. But that's a whole different conversation. ;)

No doubt it was Gonesol tonight, i don't mind much when our star players have shitty games, but the disappearing acts bother me. Ill take this W though.

What's going on? Is it in LA on Channel 9?

All I get are Drew Carey re-runs out here in Cleveland.

FUCK!

Yup... the female passenger just jumped(?) out but the driver's still going on strong. Though, he's driving on his rims so sparks be flyin'. :lol

Man I don't like how the Lakers are playing but Fisher got us that W. I'll say this man, the Clippers are going to be good. If Blake doesn't get injured, that team will be a good team for a bit.

exarkun said:
Wtf happened in that clipper. My stream died and then they lost? Griffin, you took my hope and shit on it.
This loss isn't really on Griffin, but it sure seems like he took it personally.

DY_nasty said:
Thats bullshit. The players weren't the problem when they lost to Boston. Mo Williams dropped 20 in the first half of the elimination game against Boston. He had his help, all Lebron had to do was show up give a damn.
But this is the shit I'm talking about - didn't you JUST talk about Mike Brown getting fired was somehow Gilbert making a mistake?

It was a mistake in the way he handled it. I think Mike Brown was terrible on offense as a coach, but he was a good defensive coach. I wouldn't have fired him without knowing if Lebron was staying or not. Gilbert seem like he did it out of a panic move.

How many coaches in his position on other teams would have lose their job after winning 66 games and going to the playoffs?

Everyone gets shit here. New York is probably a playoff team for the first time in a decade, is that going to stop me from trolling the fuck out of DCX and char at every chance? Hell naw :lol

I'm a fucking Bobcats fan - and probably the biggest poster in this thread. If somebody can't take the heat while riding the new dick while popping off dumb shit, then yeah, they should get clowned. Like the guys that come in saying that Lebron is already a better player than Magic. Should we have not gunned them down? I like the new fans, "who the fuck are you?" = welcome to nba-age. giri started as a driveby poster and *gasp* knew what he was talking about, like you, sharp, blackface, diehard and many others - we all talk shit.

Papa Crimson? Really? :lol:lol :lol :lol :lol
Oh shit, my bad, I thought you were a serious poster. Keep doing your thing. I'll go this way, you go your crazy ass way.

Wait... who the fuck said Lebron is better than Magic? I usually have this thread open all night but I must have missed that.

If they draft well. Their bench/supporting cast is so weak, I can imagine them still being a lottery team even after a high pick this summer. That could potentially mean they have Gordon, Griffin, plus some great young players from the next two drafts.

Or they can draft poorly and lose Griffin when his contract expires. The Griffin era in LA can go two drastically different ways. I hope for the Clippers sake that they draft well/get lucky.

I am enjoying this discussion about fans. I want to ask what you think of my situation. Full disclosure here I have no reason to lie.

I am a casual basketball fan, always have been. I have followed the league since I was a kid when I was more of a Jordan fan than I was a Heat fan. Once Riley came here and we became a force I started to follow them more. I would go to a few games and watch all the playoff games. In terms of regular season I rarely would watch a game, honestly regular season basketball is not that interesting to me.

I have been a follower of the Heat all my life. A guy that likes to keep track of the team by watching highlights or the stat sheet but again rarely watched regular season games. I would go to games every once in a while, since Shaq I have gone to about 5-10 games a year. Come playoff time I am fully invested and I watch every game. I feel bad when we lose, I feel joy when we win, even if its a losing season where I don't really watch the games I feel disappointment, I still care. I have Heat loads of Heat memorabilia, I have an authentic Zo jersey in my closet. I do love my Heat.

Would I call myself a die hard fan, no way. I am a die hard Dolphins fan who will try to not miss one snap no matter how painful it is to watch. I am not like that with the Heat but I do consider myself a fan and a lifelong one at that. This is the first season where I watch every Heat game, this team is so interesting to me, its must see TV. It has even lead me here to further discuss basketball which is something I would rarely do. So what do you consider that?

Dude they are the worse team in the league right now. They probably won't be good anytime soon.

Dude, if you're going to try and use those things to make a point, don't think that I'm being an asshole for shooting the shit down.

High school != The Fuck Yal Decision

And "he did it for the kids", but drink my vitamin water and sign up the university of phoenix while me and ESPN stack this paper for another 45 minutes.

He got fired for the same reason that Flip Saunders, Avery Johnson, and Mike Woodson got fired. Regular season wins don't mean shit when your team gets castrated in the playoffs.

Ron held his own against him when they were matched up. Threw him off his game combined with the early foul trouble.

we realy need bynum back

That's true.

If I was a Laker fan, I would be pissed having to win like that. Your team looks like they try just enough to get a W but not much else. The fact that they had to escape the Clippers is inexcusable, hey, I guess a win is a win, right?

:\

All that talent but no interest in giving 100% on a nightly basis.

At least my Cavs gave the Bulls a game tonight. We came up short but only lost by 5.

I know it's only a moral victory but as a Cleveland fan, it's pretty much all we have these days.

Lakers better bring it vs. Chicago or they are gonna get stomped. Sorry Lakers-Age, but that's the truth and you know it.

Yeah Ron matched up really well on him. Blake was getting anything he wanted on Odom low post.

Srsly (I think)

And then you've got people soiling Scottie Pippen's good name by saying he wasn't a top 50 player and Bosh being the best PF in the league and all kinds of other shit...
