The Knicks will get blown out at least for the majority of the game. You can quote and laugh at me if i'm wrong.
Have you seen the last 4-5 Knick wins? That's their blueprint... they start of horribly slow, get down like 12-15 then come back in the 2nd-early 3rd quarter. Way to go out on a limb there, Captain Obvious.

I'm not gonna troll Knicks-age today. I want to see how they do against a good defense.

Also, I want to see if Rondo still shares custody of Ray's balls with Jameer.

Exactly. Brewer is trash and shouldn't be in the rotation with Webster back.

I'd run a short rotation. Flynn/Webster/Beasley/Love/Darko with Wes as 6th man and the only guy that gets meaningful minutes of the bench. I'd also give Tolliver and Pekovic some run and demote Ridnour to ballboy, but that's it. Those other guys don't need to play.

Also, when wes moves with out the ball, and catches and just shoots, he looks so decent. Like, living up to his pick, decent.

I'm glad an upcoming Knicks loss is Obvious to even you.

.. Also i was referring to how the C's let teams back into the game but it doesn't really end up mattering.

WTF? Since when was Shaq a huge part of the C's? The Big 4 + Big Baby/random Bench player is enough to beat most teams.

Semih automatic will foul out leaving KG as the only Big and Baby if you want to go there and call him a Big. I think it will be a problem. We will see obviously.

Getting blown out the majority of the game doesn't predict an outcome. FAIL!

The unassertive jump shooter is bad Wes. He's best when he's driving, which doesn't happen a ton. It's unfortunate because he generally makes the right plays. His vision and passing are sneaky good.

Why is ESPN pushing the rivalry angle so much? This isn't a rivalry.
Because they think there's some transitive property shit going on because the Yankees and Red Sox fans hate each other.

These teams have faced each other four times in the playoffs since 1975, and the Celtics hold a 3-1 overall lead. The last time they met in the playoffs was 1989. The last time both teams had a winning record when playing each other in the regular season was 1994. Gtfo ESPN.

To be fair the Lakers-Celtics rivalry started off pretty one-sided too. Not trying to validate ESPN or anything, just saying.

Maybe. I'm sure some of thats confidence. Which can come back to the coach really (and fluctuating minutes). Still, he does move well and shoots decent it seems, when free. Which is more than evan turner can do, apparently.

Is this because you believe Carmelo's want of money > Carmelo's want of winning?

He isn't going to win more by joining a Nets team in Newark that needs to trade draft picks and 1/2 of Harris/Favors/Lopez to land him. He will secure his financial future, though...assuming that the CBA is definitely totally deleterious to max contracts and max players.

[EDIT: as for "taking the money", I just saw someone bypass that in MLB *yesterday* to go where they wanted to go. In addition, I saw people lessen their money to facilitate the new Big 3 in Miami just this FA period. It's not impossible!]

They have plenty of draft picks.. and I think adding Melo at the lost of Favors or Harris (Lopez they aren't moving) doesn't make them weaker.. And the closer they get to Brooklyn the easier it will be to get FA and if Melo is there soon, I think they make the playoffs this season

There also was that stretch where the Knicks beat the Celtics like 20+ consecutive regular season games, so ESPN trying to manufacture a new rivalry. Same thing happened with NBC when Knicks-Heat played in 2002. :lol

If Amare is going to be a very serious MVP candidate, it starts tonight. Drop 30 on those bitches with a W, and he takes the lead out of the current pack. I'm hopeful he does. I really don't know what to think rationally though. Of course the Celtics are favorites tonight...

You should try watching some non-knicks games. Dirk > Amare so far this year. Thats not a slur against Amare, but a credit to Dirk.

Knicks/Heat is much more of a "rivalry" than Knicks/Celtics ever will be.

Of course. I fondly remember Pat bodying up Alonzo like a boss throughout the series. That was some basketball.

It really started in 1997. I still can't believe the way the NBA handled it with the suspensions. Talk about a momentum killer. To this day, I still think they'd have put up a better fight against the Bulls than the Heat.

@kevinarnovitz Mike Miller, taking warmups in Miami, goes 6-for-6 from the right corner 3.

REALLY? thats the shit you're reporting, Thats the best you can come up with for Miller MVP. In practice he hit 6 3's in a row? jesus christ.

Yeah, I have League Pass... I didn't say that Amare was a better candidate (actually Dirk was #1 when I did my top 5 of candidates a few days ago here), I was just saying tonight is really important.

But you know, the thing about Amare is not just consistency, it's how he does it in 4th quarters. The guy averages more than 8 points in the last quarter... It's been so many games now that he has less than 10 at the half and scores a ton when it matters, at a crazy percentage.

Finally you get Miller's name right.

It only took the whole post for it to happen.

The game tonight is just so crazy. so many great players to watch...

a clutch big who can drop 40 every night.

An exciting playmaker with absurd passing.

An insanely intense competitor who's delivered ever since he was drafted #1.

One of the most deadly 3 Point shooters in league history.

....And that's just Bargnanni!
