Blake in the PnR with nash would be dirty ><

Clippers owe the Warriors part of that win too.

Convenient of you to neglect to mention that they went over 35 in triple overtime.Darkman M said:Two thunder players neither of them named Kevin Durant went for over 35

It only took how many overtimes? Against the Nets?Darkman M said:Two thunder players neither of them named Kevin Durant went for over 35

It definitely matters who you play.Darkman M said:Doesn't really matter who they played, the spurs lost to the clips tonight...
You know good and well that dropping 35 on the Wizards isn't the same as 35 on the Celtics...Darkman M said:It only matters in a playoff series, plenty of good teams are gonna get knocked off by scrubs on any given night. As far as individual numbers go 35 points is 35 points in the NBA period, this isn't college football or some shit.
I like how you can't resist trolling 19/8 even in the most innocuous of posts.DY_nasty said:It only took how many overtimes? Against the Nets?
But Bledsoe is already a smarter player than Wall by a mile. I didn't think he'd be so game ready at this point though.
Edit: beaten silly

Only nobody is knocking them for their performance or saying that their 35 points don't "count." What we're knocking is your direct comparison between them and the Clippers considering that tonight they had fifteen more minutes to accumulate $tats.Darkman M said:That's true, but it's crazy to knock someones performance because of who they are playing in Professional sports, where every man is paid out the ass to perform.
It was inadvertent this time, I swear. But Wall was getting clowned by Jose and Bayless. Fortunately for Wall, Raps play no transition D worth mentioning and he was allowed to score in the 2nd half - long after his team was out of the game. GJ Wall. Way to make Bayless feel wanted again.Sharp said:I like how you can't resist trolling 19/8 even in the most innocuous of posts.
Not knocking him. This is the 5th time he's dropped 30 this season and he's definitely picked up KD's slack so far, but he had 15 extra minutes to boost his $tats - in a game that his team should've taken care of in regulation.Darkman M said:That's true, but it's crazy to knock someones performance because of who they are playing in Professional sports, where every man is paid out the ass to perform.

The fact that Griffin's talent can shine through the Clipper taint is an achievement in itself. I'm sure many of us thought he'd be dead by now.Darkman M said:I wasn't making a direct comparison to the clippers, my point was the Thunder can play without their best player and still win games. The clippers without Griffin are winless so theres really no comparison there. Are we gonna shit on Griffins big numbers because most of them end in losses?

btw, Durant's been off all year long. Its nice to see Westbrook stepping up in his absence though.
Ninja Scooter said:my remark was more about how surprising it is that the Clips are as bad as they are. They have a quality young roster that IMO isn't THAT far off from the Thunder, yet OKC will probably win 50+ games while the CLips will win 20. Is Del Negro that bad? Is it just the Clipper stink?
Gigglepoo said:The Kevin Durant-led Sonics finished 20-62 in his rookie year. The point of the comparison is that the Clippers seem to have a really great, young nucleus that could potentially rivals the Thunders in a few years.

Darkman M said:They have Blake Griffin who is a monster, i don't think the rest of the roster compare though. Thunder have two top five players in their position, then Ibaka who has alot of potential.
giri said:Yes and no.
Do the clips have young players that could develop into something very special around Griffin, yes. They need help though, and plenty of it. Good coaching, some decent leadership in the locker room, and lots of good decisions by their GM and support from the owner at contract time.
The biggest difference between the clubs isn't the young core, but the front office.
Time playing together and everyone accepting their role.
Durant and.... who is the other top 5?
If the clips draft well this year and get someone who can genuinely shoot really well and help create on th wing (presuming aminu doesn't turn into this player) or get a centre that can be a real defensive force but spread the floor for griffin. They'll be a long way there.
