So why are you so mad the Heat won 11 straight?
Its amazing, seriously, the heat fans have been pretty chill following tonights win- no one's predicting rings, or even that we're gonna beat the mavs/lakers, just that we've gotten better. NBA Gaf is just in full freakout mode, haters hating left and right.

For all of Heat-Age sucking each other's dicks over this streak, remember that time in 2008 the Rockets ran off 22 games and won the championship?

Neither do I.
?Where is this dicksucking? Show me a post where someone says, "OH HAY WEVE WON 10 STRAIGHT, WERE GONNA BEAT ERRYBODY NOW! WE ALREADY WON!" We're all actually being pretty reasonable, just saying that we've gotten better. We know who we've beaten, but its still an accomplishment. You guys are just so fucking mad, I love it.

Yeah, in full freakout mode...

Let ESPN tell it, the Czzz and 5pur5 aren't on a winning streak.

Miami is the only one!

And when we have clowns like ssolitaire stick their head on a drive-by post to say, "Hurrr, hurrr, hurrr...where'd all the Miami haters go? " that ass is gonna get lit the fuck up.

Magic, Wizards In Serious Arenas Trade Talks

RealGM said:
The Magic and Wizards are engaged in serious trade talks that would send Gilbert Arenas to Orlando, sources confirmed to Yahoo's Adrian Wojarowski.

Arenas has told people over the last few days he expects a deal to Orlando.

The Magic have lost five of their past six games and are in need of a perimeter scorer.

Washington's potential package is still unclear, with Vince Carter and Marcin Gortat being possibilities.

Where the fuck does this stuff keep coming from? Hasn't Otis Smith denied this on multiple occasions?

The amount of people discounting the Spurs despite their record is hilarious. Shit I mean just look at the amount of rings Dirk has and that will tell you exactly how well the Mavs will do in the playoffs. The Lakers... they're a different story.

In Chris Mannix's article about the Arenas to Orlando talks, he only cites one team as a "standout" destination for D12 if he leaves the Magic: the fucking Knicks.

:lol Yes, because this incredible Knicks start (which was NOT built against the second-worst schedule in the league) is proof that the Knicks are back, and MSG is now the premier destination for NBA free agents.

Le sigh.

I'm not discounting the spurs- I just threw those 2 teams out there because we play both of them next week.

The numbers don't lie. Those old Celtics had to fight tooth and nail against these mediocre, pathetic Knicks.

The Heat just demolished them. Facts are facts.

You damn right that's another story but...

Speaking of Dirk, the Mavs won 67 games one year and...

Talk to me when the playoffs start.

If the 5pur5 are still playing at a high level and running over teams, then I'll be the first to give it up to them.

If they beat the Lakers in a 7 game series (regardless of HCA) then I'll tell the world that Pastry was right all along.

Have you watched the Knicks play the last two years? Plenty of time!

I kept checking espn.com tonight for nhl boxscores and every time there was a different frontpage featuring lebron and how he was demolishing the knicks, fascinating

So what do you guys think is wrong with the Lakers the last several weeks?

Is it exhaustion/injuries or they just mentally out of it?

December, long road trip, Kobe in single digits.

Sleepwalk for 3 quarters, wake up for 10 minutes of the 4th.

This team reminds me of the 08-09 squad in some ways. Sustained effort on D and O for a few minutes, up by 13, coast.

Informed that the Blazers have now defeated the Timberwolves in 13 consecutive games, Rambis stared straight at the inquiring reporter and said bluntly, "I don't worry about crap like that."
Well, ugh. Yeah.

Another Adrian Wojnarowski article

The dude assumes way too much. He somehow wrote an entire article that is pretty much about nothing and or stuff everybody already knows(Lebron hosts tons of parties since the beginning of time). Half of it is a recap of the Knicks game, the other half is about the dates for Lebrons upcoming dinner party's. He even added in tweets from Justin Beiber for some reason. I'm guessing Yahoo has him on a quota of like 5 articles per week. Weak stuff.

The one thing that I can agree on is this ridiculous Lebron birthday party PDF. Reading that made me shake my head.

The Mavs are winning by 20 and it should be more. Suns are getting away with a lot on defense.
You're right, the Mavs played great d and didn't foul anyone ever that didn't get called

why is Serge Ibaka called Dr. Nasty?
I dunno, I think our TV play-by-play guy called him that after a "nasty" followup dunk last year in Toronto, and some ESPN guys picked it up.

I personally prefer "Air Congo", but neither is bad.

How much of an upgrade can Arenas for Wince be? Isn't that basically a wash or am I missing something. Arenas has more upside but he's still a chucker and super turnover prone.

It doesn't matter if the rumor on RealGM is true.

If the deal is what RealGM says it is (Arenas for Vince/Lewis), and Orlando actually managed to unload Lewis' contract, then they win the deal. Arenas could drive to practice with an AK-47 in one hand and Delonte West in the passenger's seat, and they still would have won the deal.

Are you implying it's a good idea to drop a 12 /4 player making 20 million a year.

Why would Orlando win if we unload Lewis? His contract is a year shorter than Hibachi's. Also every twitter journalist is saying there's also a 2nd deal in the works. I don't know what the hell is going on, couple of INSIDURZ have said the Gilbert deal is done but they won't say who the Magic are moving.

Trading Lewis for Arenas makes the odds that the Magic can get Deron in 2013 go from 15% to 0% so I am supportive of this deal though I'm more supportive of Wince for Arenas.

It's what the move allows Orlando to do. 20 Million less left on the books. Now they can make a package with a pick, one of the bigs they've been keeping for just such an occasion, and a few other pieces, and try to snag a superstar (Melo/Paul/Nash). It might not work out, but it gives them the freedom to try it, and won't hurt the team's play that much in the process.

Turkeyglue is involved as well. We need Emeka Okafor and Elton Brand in this deal ASAP so the most infamous contracts of the current era can all be in this deal together.

Moving Lewis/Vince for Gilbo would be nice considering the contracts but the deal mentioned basically removes Orlando from a chance to compete in the near future and seriously puts Dwight extending with the team in jeopardy. Moreover, it's kind of a waste of Vince's psuedo expiring which could be flipped for someone pretty solid if good chips like Bass or Gortat are attached.

Magic GM Otis Smith: yes there are conversations with Washington involving Gilbert Arenas.

.....I'm cold.

They could potentially get rid of Kirk, Gil, and Yi to make the deal work if they want to include Shard but...man this shit just reeks of cheese.
Yi is the only one in that group that I actually want to stay...

I wish we could unload Gilbert, Kirk and Blatche...end up with almost no salary and just develop Wall/Booker, change the culture of this team, be the worst team in the league, grab #1 overall and keep it movin...

If you try to rebuild and win at the same time you end up like the Pacers.

As it is we're at least close to being the worst team in the league already, I really like that deal. Unfortunately I don't think even Orlando is desperate enough to take all three of them. Also, I hear next year's draft class might suck.

Guy on the left is in awe of the powder throw :lol

The thing I wanna know is if the chats with Orlando/Washington involve the same pieces they were trying to get Turkoglu with.

Going by the rumors, the trade would end up being:

Magic get: Turkeyglue, Arenas, Jason Richardson
Magic send: Rashard, Vince, Gortat, Ryan Anderson

Suns get: Ryan Anderson, Vince, Gortat
Suns send: Turkeyglue, Jason Richardson

Wizards get: Rashard
Wizards send: Arenas
