You're playing the Timberpups.

But, but Kevin Love is a beast and stuff.

dat 8-21

I always wanted to do that.

I hope we get smoked by Houston. I miss cheering for my lovable losers.

dream, are you really one of us?

Yes, but in the interest of full disclosure, my other favorite team is Boston. I figure they cancel each other out.

Me-asley: 20 points, 4 rebounds, 6-19
Gomes: 22 points, 10 rebounds, 7-11

Love: 12 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 4-9
Griffin: 22 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 9-12

Well now... I think the numbers speak for themselves...

Your GM and head coach need to get fired. Once that happens, you guys will get better.
I hope so. I want to believe that anyway. There's some nice individual talents (Love, Beasley, Wes, Webster), but the coaching is obscenely bad. Rambis intentionally plays against his roster's strength.

Why you gots to be a contrarian? :(
I presumed one was love the other blake:P

TBH, i like both, but loves better at the moment. Who knows where blake will end up, with athleticism like that if gets some real talent around him, and gets put in a proper O, scary.

Will trade you hakim warrick or josh childress for griffin, but NOT both.

... lol

In other news for Rodeo...

With the latest loss to the Clippers, Rambis' coaching record with the Wolves is now 21-90 (.190) officially tying Jimmy Rodgers' record from the 91-92 season + part of the 92-93 season.

Man, I can't believe the Clips have won 3 in a row. I'm gonna start believin' in Santa again if they win another.

I wish I still lived back in SoCal. I would probably pick up some ticket packages just to see Blake and EG. I hope BD can focus on being a facilitator too.

i think in the end they'll be a few games better than .500 and possibly grab the 8th spot.

And they'e got to get to .500 now, the January schedule is brutal:

@ blazers
@ nuggets
blazers
@ magic
jazz
@ celtics
thunder
hornets
@ hawks

that's through jan 15th o_o

zomg, it's jedi too. Where are you at now?

I've unfortunately moved to the DC for work. Not to mention, I don't have a TV yet in my apt (though, I've just ordered one). So I've been checking games up via webstreams whenever I can, but a lot of games are really late over here.

I'm just happy to hear the attention Blake is getting. It's nice to finally have that lone shining light over the franchise.

Blake's cool because if you don't double him he'll kill you in the paint. If you do double him he's getting good enough at passing to find the open man (usually Gordon) and kill you at range while still putting up amazing numbers for a rookie (like he did tonight).

Still can't believe we're on a 3 game win streak...

Since the new Hall-of-Fame nominees have just been released, here are some active players who will likely be inducted when their careers are finished, but who absolutely do not deserve to be so honored:

Carmelo Anthony – Accumulating numbers, i.e., the Walt Bellamy syndrome, is the most important factor for admittance, and 'Melo is one of the beneficiaries. Has the numbers, doesn’t have the defense, passing ability or full-time passion.

Vince Carter – scores, but rarely in the clutch.

Kevin Garnett – another no-clutch performer.

Dwight Howard – overrated defense, low basketball IQ, not a winner.

LeBron James – the biggest fraud since White Chocolate.

Chris Paul – controls the ball too much, which is the main reason why his stats appear to be so impressive.

Amar’e Stoudemire – selfish, unaware, a loser.

**************************

Here are the active players who legitimately belong in the Hall of Fame.

Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Shaq, Paul Pierce, and D-Wade, if he can ever escape from the LBJ-centric situation in Miami.

Here are players who do deserve to be enshrined, but don’t have a chance:

Chauncey Billups – Not sufficiently inflated numbers, but he’s one of the best clutch shooters of his generation and is a leader par excellence.

Pau Gasol – For some reason remains under-appreciated.

Yao Ming – Like Bill Walton, a brilliant career perpetually hampered by injuries.
