Hey DY. Looks like there's a Bobcats trade you might be interested in... Here's a hint: it probably won't make you wet.

Bobcats, Blazers Discuss Wallace Trade

I really don't see the point of this. At least give the current crew a chance with the new coach before making any panic trades.
I don't see the point of that trade... a lot of dumber Bobcats fans are enamored with Miller for some reason, but even with the salary dump of Diop it doesn't make much sense. Still, DJ might just be beyond saving at this point.

It all started a couple of days ago when LB challenged the players and said "go and tell MJ it's not working out. Go and tell MJ you don't want to play under me any more".

Then there was the players only meeting.

And now here we are......................
Eat a dick, Larry :lol

Funny thing about Drew Gooden that the Jazz radio announcer brought up. For every team that Gooden has been on his entire career the team has improved after he has been traded annd the team has had a better +/- with him on the bench. The guy can be productive, but his team always is worse by him just being there.

This is not new to anyone who's been a fan of a team he was on.

Just finishd watching the heat game, had family xmas shit to do so I couldn't see it live. What a bleh victory, maybe because I started watching it at like 230, but wow.... A few SportsCenter moments in a hugely boring game. Can't believe I watched it all to be honest:lol I was actually pretty happy with our roleplayers in James Jones/Chalmers/Damps, each played okay. Lebron put up big numbers, but fuck was he sloppy- throwing up garbage shots, can't applaud him for that. Bosh was solid. Suns played terrible though, which is mostly why the game wasn't very close.

Confidence level for saturday is at about a 4/10 right now. Hopeful for a win, but not expecting one. Guaranteeing a win though if Jesus Miller's thumb guards come off.

The Pacers have almost a week off! This is kind of crazy. I don't remember this kind of gap during Christmas in years past. They beat New Orleans on Monday and don't play against until Sunday; gotta be nice for the players but I'm sure it will bite them in the ass at some point.

Late?

This won't make LeBron James popular at the next player's union meeting, but Thursday he suggested the NBA would be more entertaining if there was contraction of teams.

In defending his decision to join up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat, James said the league was better when numerous teams had multiple stars. He said he hopes the league can return to that someday, because right now there isn't enough talent to support the 30 current teams.

"Hopefully the league can figure out one way where it can go back to the '80s where you had three or four All-Stars, three or four superstars, three or four Hall of Famers on the same team," James said. "The league was great. It wasn't as watered down as it is [now]."

"Imagine if you could take Kevin Love off Minnesota and add him to another team and you shrink the [league]. Looking at some of the teams that aren't that great, you take Brook Lopez or you take Devin Harris off these teams that aren't that good right now and you add him to a team that could be really good. Not saying let's take New Jersey and let's take Minnesota out of the league. But hey, you guys are not stupid, I'm not stupid, it would be great for the league."

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/news/story?id=5952952

Whether or not you agree with contraction this is kind of a dick move on Lebron's part towards many of his peers.

the only peers he's shitting on is the ones who suck at basketball and don't belong in the league. i'd say he's more shitting on small market teams rather than his peers

can you imagine if the cavs were contracted after he said all that shit? :lol

The product would probably be better if there were fewer teams, but it's still an asshole thing to say (especially considering where he came from).

Teams like Minnesota, Sacramento, and the Clips could all be relevant with the right management in place, and all of them (except for the Clips) have had sustained runs of success in the last 15 years. Let's stop putting Blake Griffin through so much torture in a Staples Center half-full of opposing fans and bring him home to OKC. It would really be for the best.

tl;dr: Contract the Clippers, nobody would miss them.

So he's shitting on his own bench?

Haven't you seen the way he looks at Joel Anthony when he drops a pass?

Hint: it's not the "I wanna fuck you in the shower tonight" look.

He isn't Jordanesque, after all.

I mostly agree with Lebron, except the opposite might work too. If every team had one or two great players it could still be entertaining. Instead the "rich get richer" in a way, the best teams keep getting better and taking talent away from everyone else to the point where the top teams' bench are competitive with other teams starters.

tl;dr: bring the sonics back to Seattle.

Fixed

Leave it to Pheeknicks to try and defend the indefensible.

"Guys, it doesn't matter that he's in a Player's union and shouldn't be saying things like this in the middle of CBA uncertainty, he is only talking about the sucky players!!!" :lol

Pheeknicks has become an apologist for the player he roots for.

Bogut is MUCH more important to the squad than Jennings, as of right now, if only for his monstrous defensive play. That being said, Jennings is the second most valuable piece on the team and will only get better.

Bogut is around how often? He's only played at a high level for a relatively short time. He's only actually won for a stretch of a few months...

Uh...what exactly did I defend?

I said he is shitting more on smaller markets than players and that he is only talking about shitty players. That's defending? :lol Go continue to whine.

We all agree, i'm glad Laker fans are seeing the light on the crappiness of Bynum.

Trolling how? Are the Bucks better with Jennings or AB?

Don't get me wrong AB is a great player.. But Jennings wins games.. Without him the Bucks look really bad.

Bogut. Jennings is a flat out chucker. Bogut's defense is a game changer.

How do the Bucks look bad without Jennings? They just beat the Lakers without him.

No buddy.

Let me explain whining to you.

Whining is telling the whole NBA GAF board that you are gonna be sure to "rub things in everyone's face" now that you signed a couple of free agents in the off-season.

Or maybe that's just being childish and petty for no reason.

Or both.

I think you need to go back to grade school.

Well, that's one legitimate complaint about Bogut - he's had injuries in the past and those injuries might cloud his future.

But as a player, the guy has been playing at DPOY levels for more than a year now (dating back to the quarter-point of last season and you only need to watch him to see that he's legitimate. It's no coincidence that his rise as a defensive stalwart came after the hiring of Skiles as head coach.

On offense he can still disappear at times, but generally that's not due to a fault of his own, but that the team won't feed him the ball.

Keep in mind that Bogut is only 26, too. He's been around for a while but still is pretty young. The injuries are the only worrying part.
