Sending Gortat out will be painful for Orlando. They should have just let him sign with Dallas in the off-season and gone after someone like CYC (Contract-Year-Chandler). Earl Clark isn't gonna cut it as a backup big man to Dwight.

And Suns will surely miss Jason Richardson. He was a revelation for them and one of the big keys to that WCF run.

Gortat has been openly unhappy, since ORL matched the offer sheet from Dallas.

I'm not surprised he has finally been moved. Dude is probably more thrilled than anyone else who's in this trade.

Jason Richardson is the only good thing, guy is a pretty solid chucker. But WTF IS OTIS DOING MY GOD WHY DIDNT YOU TRY TO GET LOPEZ OR CHANNING FRYE YOU DICKSNEEEZE GOD FUCKING SHIT

I love this deal for us but it still hurts a little trading J-Rich seeing as how good he was playing this year, but if that is the price to get rid of Turkeyglue then so be it. Maybe we can resign him for cheap next year since he's expiring this year.

Now we can actually play Frye at the 4. I'm not sure whether I start Gortat or Rolo but this just helps the makeup of the team so much. We can actually find minutes for J-Chill now and we'll have a lot more money freed up for next year. :D

Bass? They are best with Dwight+Bass frontcourt anyway. I don't think losing Gortat is a big deal for them.

I have no idea how they imagine juggling a Gil+Jameer+Turk backcourt is going to work though. Seems disastrous.

It's LeBron and Cleveland 2.0. He'll say in 2012 that we weren't able to get him a true partner on the wing. This wackass Phoenix/Golden State hybrid aint gonna do shit.

Hedo Turkoglu as the starting Power Forward of the Orlando Magic doesn't strike you as the final move to become a champion?

They have no backup center.

Aren't Orlando working out something to get a mystery big from Washington too?

Orlando looks like they're about to get a whole lot fucking more deep, but they're gonna need somebody to replace Gortat.

Washington has no good bigs except sometimes for McGee, and he's not going to be involved in the trade. My guess is they get Blatche. That would make them worse.

I think its hard to say who gets better or worse until we confirm the Washington part of the deal. And even then, this is so many key pieces that it will be hard to tell. An absolute change of makeup for all 3 teams.

At this point, the trades are just interesting. Very interesting.

So much worse.

Sam Presti needs to start putting together his PowerPoint presentation to D12 for 2012: "How you, KD and Westbrook can terrorize the league for the rest of the decade."

Magic aren't winning shit with Hedo and Arenas.

Wonder if the Wiz will give up McGee, too?

So what does this all mean for Jameer? I'm surprised he's not included anywhere in these trade talks. Backup point guard?

Arenas
J-Rich
Turkoglu
Brandon Bass/Andray Blatche(?)
Dwight Howard

Bench
Duhon
Jameer
Redick
Q-Rich

Starting lineup looks eh... and they lose a lot of depth from their bench

No way, he's coming to Utah once we ditch Al's contract.

Well Washington has four centers so I could see them being willing to trade one of them just to get rid of Arenas.

McGee maybe? Seems a huge stretch, but Flip said recently he doesn't think he's starter material.

Projected starting lineup has Gilbo coming off the bench. So it'll be Meer, JRich, Hudo, Bass and Dwight.

Flip is a dumbass, McGee is the only one who is starter material. I don't think they would get rid of him.

Of course Hedo is starting, he knows SVG's system and Dwight is comfortable with him.
Yeah it's too bad he sucks balls though but c'est la vie.

I don't know. I feel like nobody is gonna win with this trade. :lol

Maybe Washington since 'Shard is expiring.
What? :lol Shard isn't expiring, he's just more expiring than Gilly.

So Orlando is pretty much changing out their whole team mid season...yeah thats going to work out great for them. This is not a smart deal at all for them.

Have you guys forgotten the magic team that went to the finals 2 years ago?? Hedo has been tanking the last two yrs he's comfortable in this system and Gil is a better shooter than shard.

This magic team is gonna beast as long as no one gets hurt. Bass should have been starting over Lewis a long time ago

My wizards tho... :-/

I think it's okay for everyone. The Wizards get one less year of salary cap hell, get way worse so they can get Enes Kanter, and John Wall won't be poisoned by Arenas. The Magic get slightly better. So, it's fine deal for all sides.

The only Magic players who haven't been terrible this year are Jameer, JJ, Bass and Dwight.

I feel like Phoenix is the only team that has definitely improved, as long as Nash stays healthy. Pietrus is a nice get for them.
I like it for the Suns a lot. They weren't going to bring back Richardson, Hedo has been trash, and they get 2 nice players in Gortat and Pietrus. Plus, those late first round picks are far from worthless as we've seen countless times.

Nelson for JAX rumors.
:lol

Wtf. Nelson is having a career year, too. Of course that dickhead Larry Brown would fuck over Augustin by trading for Nelson.

Turkey is comfortable with their teams so essentially none of their starters are new. They'll be able to work in the other guys as shooters at first until they get more comfortable with the team.

wow at these trades, I think Arenas is going to be dirty on a good team, watching him this year I could tell his head wasn't in the game. Magic should be ridiculous offensively with J-Rich and Hedo back as point forward too. Great trade for them.
