Yes. He's playing with an icepack on his ankle.

Looking to get my first win in NBA 2K11 today. Playing a 29 game season with the Thunder on pro and am currently 0-8 on 5 min quarters. It is taking me a long time to get the damn shot stick down and trying to do all that other shit at once. I was shooting a lot better in broadcast view and lost my first two games by 5 pts combined but couldn't see the passing lanes. Switched to 2K view and it screwed my timing. Can't hit free throws or jumpers worth a damn. Had 4 pts at the half against the Celtics... I'm terribad but still having a lot of fun. :lol

Don't worry, you'll figure out some cheap tactic to break the game soon enough.

Personally, I feel that Jameer Shit Face is the real villain here.

I think you may be right.

And Jameer, that's no surprise, Stan (and Dwight) are in love with that ugly midget. I'm glad Vince is out of Orlando, I hated about half of the team.

I'm glad he's coming to the suns. Hopefully we start pietrus or childress over him

Man, MP is gonna be fun as hell in Phoenix. Can't wait to see him there.

Well I watched the 05 Christmas game between the Shaq/Wade Heat and Bryant/Odom Lakers. Shaq fouled out with like 3 minutes left in the 4th. Kobe might as well have, because he went scoreless for the rest of the game, including overtime, and missed the shot to win the game. Wade took over overtime and led his team to the win.

Microcosm of their careers.

agreed -- spurs partisans might argue that their repeated playoff annihilations of the spurs are among shaq and kobe's career highlights, overvaluing the spurs as they invariably do, but more broadminded basketball enthusiasts will agree that it's poor 4th quarter performances in overhyped regular season games that truly define their careers

Where are you reading this vince stuff?

yeah, Pietrus should be good here, though unless we choose to basically sit vince (unlikely) i'm not sure he'll see a ton of minutes till next year. Childress, Dragic, Dudley & Hill are probably slightly ahead of him :(

I thought it was a foul on Kirk to be honest, offensive foul, a charge.

Look closer, Lebron elbows his shooting arm around the armpit, that's why the shot goes straight up. Bosh is moving backward, he's not going to drawing an offensive foul without his feet set.

That's not a foul. Picture perfect defense, actually.

Forearm shimmy to the armpit isn't defined as picture perfect defense. But unlike the rest of the let's find anything suspect about heat or LBJ and talk about like they killed our dog-age I don't have much an issue with it being a non-call

I'm not sure if you got trolled, or are trolling?

Did some poking around on ARandolph, they still have some interest but Knicks don't seem interested in doing anything right now

And if it ever did happen, might it include Ridnour rather than a pick?
I'd give them a pick just to take Ridnour off our hands. Get it done, Ronzone!

Suns Now Shopping Childress?

RealGM said:
The Suns may not be done dealing, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic.

They completed a six-player trade with the Magic on Saturday, sending Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu and Earl Clark to Orlando for Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus and Marcin Gortat.

"This might not be the last Suns deal either. They're still working other avenues. With this trade, they have just as many wings as before," Coro wrote on his Twitter page.

Brooks To Return Against Kings

RealGM said:
The Rockets will have Aaron Brooks on Sunday against the Kings for the first time in more than a month.

Brooks had been out since he landed on Manu Ginobili's foot Nov. 6 in San Antonio, spraining his ankle.

"I think you have to be a little bit cautious and make sure he feels good," coach Rick Adelman said of working Brooks back in.

"All of a sudden, we have a bunch of perimeter people. It changes everything. I think I'll work him back slowly if he can play these three games, see how he reacts, see how he plays."

Brooks will come off the bench as he works back into the rotation.

Great. As if the odds weren't stacked against us enough as it was already.

They MIGHT have called a foul if BOSH hit Hinrich with the elbow...
THey called a foul on blatche for less contact the play before, than bosh has on kirk there. Call one, call the other, if not, blame the refs

DeMarcus Cousins after the 1st quarter:

4 pts (2-2 FG)
3 reb (1 off)
1 ast
3 blk
0 TO
0 PF

Woohoo! :D

I think if DMC turned into an effecient 16 & 12 player, you could consider his pick a success.

so $126 million is back, and he just quietly had a 4 - 16 night from the field, as ATL lost to the nets.

He comes back, lose to the nets, he goes out injured, beat the magic.

why are you always trolling the lakers..?

Laker fans are really easy, and when I want to get a good few trolls in for the day, they are the go-to targets.

Besides, I've been on the Miami kids a little too much lately. Gotta switch it up.

I have a hard time imagining Bogut maintaining his 12 boards a game average...
That probably puts you in the minority then.

Bogut over the last 3 years

9.7
10.3
10.1

This year, 11.8

It wouldn't be unheard of.

DMC could be a lot of things, but he'll never be efficient...

Yeah I can see him dropping off a bit.

It's just crazy to throw out 16/12 as the barometer for a worthy #3 Pick. Only 4 Players averaged 12 Rebounds last year. And I don't think anymore will avg that this year.

Shit, i'll tell you the 4 now:

Love
Howard
Randolph
Griffin

My post might've been dripping with irony.

I thought samurai was saying he had a bad quarter.

Also, a #3 pick sort of does have to average over 15 & 8 to be worthy of a #3 pick.

I like Bogut. IMO he's underrated. Too much credit is given to Brandon Jennings for the Bucks being somewhat decent... But if he keeps up with 12 boards and 3 blocks a game, I'll be even more impressed...

It does feel like the East has a bunch of very good centers, with Howard, Noah, Horford, Bogut, Amare... although some are out of position.
