The champs, believe it or not, were not a slam dunk to rejoin the top five. They have one win -- ONE -- over teams with winning records (Bulls).
Pathetic.

Seven of LA's twenty-eight games came against teams at .500 or better. Overall, four of their twenty-eight games came against teams above .500.

That means they've played a team above .500 once every seven games.

You obviously didn't watch the Phoenix game. If OKC had been knocking down its open shots (which they tend to do) they would have won this game going away, even if their defense made Grant Hill look like he was in his prime.

Suns are just the better team. Without Hedo, the sky is the limit!

A) The Lakers are responsible for their opponent's sub .500 records

B) Lakers will be facing a harder schedule during the second half of the season

A?

I am now winning DCX's league. How you guys gonna let a homer team like mine be first?
you guys are only doing well because you're beating up on the mamba division

that said, how am I in second? vancouver grizzlies should be second in nothing. we're winning in different categories each week, but we're in the middle to bottom of nearly every statistical category. crazy.

Finally Raptor Nation has found someone to blame. That's it, the Lakers are fired!

Fuck that. It's the Lakers that are disgruntled and are interested in joining the Lakers if things don't improve by 2013.

20 of our first 28 were against .500 or less teams this year.
But, over the past three years, we win 3 of 4 games, on average.

Our record is 21-7, par for the course.

Come on, that might apply after the first 10 games of the season, but it's a fact that the Lakers haven't played many top teams. In fact, they have played 0 game against the other title contenders: Spurs, Mavericks, Celtics, Magic and Bobcats.

Psssh you missed their game against the Jazz, clearly.

The Mavs aren't going to do anything in the playoffs. If they get Lakers, Spurs, or Jazz first - they're not getting into the second round.

You been stealing thekad's material again?

$tat$ don't lie.

Lakers have already lost 7 games with the easiest schedule in history. Whats to say they'll keep pace with the Jazz, who have had the 3rd hardest schedule in the league?

Lakers are getting healthy and the starters' minutes are reducing so I'm not that concerned.

Once we get Jesus Ratliff back, the league is on notice.

...and how is that their fault? It's not like they pick and choose who to play. They will play every team during the course of the season.

relio is always analyzing team schedules, but in the end they will play plenty of teams who are above .500 and it looks like it'll be during the latter half of the season. Does that mean that teams who have played the tougher teams early will get to cruise in the second half? Oh noes! It's all rigged!

Bobcats tonight without Wallace and Jax.

Larry Brown won't give Gerald Henderson 20 full minutes.

Same with the Jazz but the Jazz are entering their easy part of the schedule while the Lakers are entering the hard part. Welcome to the 4th seed, LA! (5th if Durant remembers how to be an elite shooter or how to do anything else on the basketball court)

Getting healthy?

Your only injury has been to Bynum, and he shouldn't even count anymore. The Jazz have missed Memo most the season. Thats a lot worse than whatever woes the Lakers may have had lol.

Starter minutes won't reduce because the games are going to get hard. Games against scrub teams are meant to be the ones where you give the starters rest. You guys have already spent up your easy games and haven't had any rest. Thats a problem.

What's to say they won't? Lakers are 12-0 when they have a center this season. They're getting healthy and are on a small win streak. It'll get better from here on in, something I know the league doesn't want to hear.

:lol

I know you said you'd switch it up yesterday, maybe it's rust, but I expect more from you.

Neither am I, we have the most road wins in the league, and we're meshing really well.

Not really. The only concern is Pau. Odom's at 35-ish, Kobe's at 33.

Deron, Al and Milsap are all top-25 in minutes played.

TP, Manu and RJ are all at around 32-33.

And since we actually have a bench that can relieve the starters, yes, we'll be fine. Just make sure you get past the Sons this year. We'll take care of the rest.

Tyreke Evans points per possession in the clutch: .6
Kings points per possession in the clutch: .72

Both are far and away the worst in the Western Conference aside from Carl Landry's .45 points per possession in the clutch. I think the Kings may have a problem moving forward. It's kind of hard to be a #1 option when you suck badly in the last five minutes of games.

CJ clutch stats aren't good which is lame, but Paul, Deron, and Al have excellent clutch stats. The Jazz average more points per possession in the clutch than any team in the West at 1.23.

Way to ignore the fact that Jesus Ratliff has been on the shelf.

smh

Sure, they can win every game against every hard team on every back to back.

Or they can drop some games like in all probability they will. And probably at a higher rate than the Jazz do.

OK keep playing Pau almost 40 MPG and see where it gets you. I don't know how you expect minutes to reduce in games against +.500 teams.

But yeah its all about Bynum. Bynum is going to turn the season around :lol

Pau's minutes are reducing and have been since Bynum's return.

I'm not overly concerned about the Lakers just yet but you seem to be.

Remember DAT 23 & 3?

You just worry about MVP G-Hill getting healthy.

You know it's funny.. I remember the Lakers getting trolled like this last year as well, only the subject then was the lack of road games they had played at the time. I forget, how did that season turn out again? Oh right...

It's like a vicious troll cycle every year. The haters get a hold of any little thing they can get their hands on and they run with it as if it means something in the long run, when in fact it means absolutely nothing.

I also find it quite funny that fans of teams who got their sorry asses swept in the playoffs last year, or didn't even make it IN, are talking big shit early in the season. Fucking hysterical.

I will have you know that no Jazz fan has talked shit. I just want to play another Rocket/Warrior/Nuggets team so we can win some playoff series.

I've read the pages. I'm not talking about Jazz fans in this instance.

Jazz are gonna knock out dem Fakers now they have Kemp 2.0 and the black Ginobili on their team in Jeremy Evans and CJ Miles to along with McHale 2.0 if McHale played in the NBA at age 50 in Al Jefferson. Watch out!

Last year.

Last year.

Cling to those ancient victories but they don't matter now. You already gave up the summer league, preseason, October, November, and soon the December championships and you still aren't waking up to reality. The Lakers weren't contenders for any of those rings, and there is no reason to expect them to be contenders for the one in June.

smh dieHard. Post like a warrior. Talk shit regardless of how good or bad your team is. And your team is pretty fucking good.

Its all up to Chris Quinn replacement-MVP now. We'll see what happens.

Just so people know, Malone has 36,928 career points versus Jordan's 32,292, or Tim Duncan's 21,003. Suck that down, league.

The thing is, I would be able to take TCB more serious had he not been for the 5pur5/Sons series last May.

He was talking so much shit to Sons-Age about how the series would be a joke, how the 5pur5have always owned the Sons, etc.

Then once the sweep happened he was like, "Oh well, we probably shouldn't have been there anyway.."

jobber, Bati and Obe knew better and weren't woofing up front.

They aren't even woofing now besides the occasional "DAT ___ & ___"
