I just don't get it, I guess. The show feels held back whenever boobs aren't jiggling or things aren't blowing up. There's all this stupid shit in between the action where jargon like antibodies and endlaves are tossed around characters for whom I feel nothing about.
It doesn't work as a serious sci-fi show and it doesn't work as some crazy whimsical CG successor, either. It's just boring most of the time.

There's not enough crazy in it. Mostly because peoples eyes aren't popping out of their heads and this dude sure doesn't do the crazy hand movements. He just rips swords out of chicks as they say sexually suggestive and very submissive things.Dresden said:

It just has a bad main character, sadly. This is the problem with not going far enough. Admittedly the show attempts to have a number of 'exciting' (e.g. ridiculous) moments in it but the director doesn't really embrace it with every facet of his being. That's why you have Shu dragging everything down as a tiresome main character.Dresden said:

Nope. The song might be better overall, but the accompanying sequence for the ED is just so slick. Also, that awesome piano intro that always kicks in at just the right moment...Regulus Tera said:
