Kendrick Perkins: “It kind of had me scared today in the film room the way the coaches were. I thought we were playing the damn Dream Team tomorrow.” Perkins went on to say the Cavs “are the best pick-and-roll team in the league.” “You’ve got (Dion) Waiters and you got (Kyrie) Irving who can come off and pull up at the 3 at any time,” Perkins said. “I think Irving’s shooting 46 percent. Waiters is shooting 52 percent from the 3, and they both can split the pick-and-roll, get in the paint and cause havoc. So it’s a lot on the bigs. And you’ve got Varejao who’s going to set good screens. So it’s a good challenge for us.”

IWTMB why has Ayon been Kobe bad so far this year

he probably doesn't care given the situation but that doesn't excuse being generally worse than Josh McRoberts

I haven't watched the Magic much but I'm guessing it's because he's a pick-and-roll finisher on a team with a bunch of terrible passers and point guards. Or maybe Monty Williams made him look a lot better than he was because Monty has made even AF Aminu and Robin Lopez look like NBA starters.

Also... this team is gonna struggle against good front courts.

By my count we are at 5 horrid regular fouls in miami's favor and one horrid technical, the frauds are still losing, and Dwayne Wade's go-to move is still "pray they call a foul for me when I chuck the ball in the general direction of the board." Should also be at least 2 flopping fines going out tonight.

I do love Memphis.
