Photomode allows you for additional tweaks and the photomode tools are always on screen...so that's not an option. :( And how hard can it be to find those photos online?? o_O I uploaded 25 shots and the game clearly tells me "check them in the gallery". But where to find this fucking gallery? That's so LOL.

I assume you've been on a google spree for the gallery or someone linking to it, or explaining where it is.

Well...Stallion, where do you find your photomode pics?

I didn't, I just used Fraps and played the game. Photomode pics are gonna come out like shit in terms of quality, I guarantee it.

Damn...I am really tempted to grab this from the Amazon sale (The Run) after reading some of the impressions.
The game is fucking awful. The driving feels off, the opponents are either scripted or cheat, and the cops drive faster than everyone and the graphics are really uneven. It's a great concept completely wasted by Black Box and EA management.

So, I have a Driving Force GT racing wheel, does anyone know how good it feels with Need for Speed the Run? For 10 bucks, if the game feels good racing, I might drop some money on it.

I really do like the Run and think it's the bst NFS I played in years. PC version looks great at times even amazin, some events are awesome, they were bold enough to try something new, driving is at least on par with hot pursuit if not better and miles better than Burnout (after 2). I bought it for 8€ and it's easily worth that money if not more. If you like arcade racing and NFS and if you have a PC which can run it at 60FPS, go buy it.

Don't do anything this man says, The Run is truly garbage and makes you wonder if it's the product of a 1000 monkeys, 3 years and VbsEdit.

Haha. I'm playing through it a bit at a time and I think it's alright. I wouldn't have paid more than $10 for it, but it runs well, and isn't too bad to look at. I'm one of the ones that thought Criterion's Hot Pursuit was pretty mediocre, though, since I play single-player almost exclusively. The Run's basically like an updated Cruis'n USA. The N64 version.

I really don't get the hate. o_OWhat is supposed to be so bad about it? I got it kinda while it was locked at 30 but now with 60 I think it's way better than Hot Pursui which was flatout boring in my eyes. But you know, we could talk about this in the Run thread instead of the picture thread... ;)

Tell me this stuff isn't true and I'll get it when it drops to $10

I pondered picking this one up until I saw the first few minutes of the GameTrailers review.

"Unskippable cut-scenes"
"QTEs, fortunately few and far between"
"No way to replay individual events"
"2 hour campaign..."

Yeah, no.

And what is that DCS game? Looks like something I might dig.

Nice Hard Reset Exile shots. I played some of the original game. But when news of the DLC hit, i decided to wait for that, until i continued.

http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/

Has some high-fidelity simulators, Black Shark, A-10, P51 and a "free" Su-25. However, they recently released Combined Arms which means you can take control of ground units ( See this user made video for a deeper explanation and wow effect http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFN1iFfvVG8 ). It's all rolled into DCS World, which means everything can be played on one battlefield, deep mission editor etc. so I was basically playing a huge combat scenario, controlling troops and defending my base. Weird system but imagine a bunch of modules that hook into a huge battlefield system, each module allows you to take control of something on the battlefield.

Hey guys, a couple questions about Nvidia Inspector.

Is there a way to apply settings while a game's running, or do I have to restart with new settings each time?

Do I need a compatibility bit to force AA in DX9 games, or can I force AA without them?

Wasn't really sure where to post this, but you guys seem to know all about display properties and control panels and the like.

I just built a new PC with an Nvidia GPU in it and I'm having a weird issue with gamma when I use my native resolution. This applies for the desktop as well but it also carries over into games.

Here's Skyrim at 1024x768:

And here it is again at 1920x1080:

For some reason the picture is getting washed out and I can't figure out why. I've got my TV (pictured above) plugged into the GPU via HDMI and a second monitor on my desk. The second one is a super old CRT which is plugged in with a VGA-DVI adapter.

Having never had an Nvidia machine before I'm totally unfamiliar with the control panel, so some insight would be great.
