Just convert them to JPEGs at 100% quality, or flattened PNGs.

Edit: You must have missed my previous post, because it's mentioned therein that abload automatically converts BMP images to PNG (and it supports images up to 10MB in size).

I get that too, I just move around until all the edges fill in and then cap.

I guess the fix would be to get the Wii version working. There's a version of Dolphin that loads .dol files without having to hex-edit anything, but I don't know which it is. I don't know how stable that version of the game is, either.
