2012 High-Res PC Screenshot Thread of Don't Use Imgur

Burnout Paradise. Better in almost every aspect than Most Wanted. Better gameplay. Better sense of speed. Better car variety. Better cars, in that I'd trade licensed cars for ones that will shatter in a glorious shower of particles and chunks after a 200mph crash instead of just a few dents. Much better open world design, the flow of taking shortcuts/finding secrets at speed, the events, the exploration. I guess Paradise didn't have the amazing god-police though, that's a shame. Oh, and no dust filter.

I agree, it supports Nvidia's Driver-level AO, try that.

Do you know the bit for it? It says not supported out of the control panel and didn't work with just an enable through inspector. Also couldn't find anything through a quick Google, but I'd love a better implementation than the overly heavy-handed one in the game.

Is it normal for PhysX to completely fuck up my Mirrors Edge performance when windows get shattered?
I can run the game at constant 60+fps but when a window breaks the game goes down to 2-5fps.

I think the game has problems with certain cards or something.

Just finished another playthrough of Spec Ops: The Line, took about 60 screenshots, here are some of my favorite.

I like this one because of the sheer look of terror in the soldier's face and how Walker refuses to even look at what he is doing. Powerful image.

This one shows off the varied environments and fantastic art style of the game:

Fuck I miss posting screenshots and I wanted to show you some beautiful Dead Space but Windows 8 broke SweetFX and any capture. -_-

This is your playthrough number...?

Dark Souls is really an awesome game! The next one has to definitively have a PC release and hire you to make it PC optimize if you know what I'm saying =P

Sinatar, how's prototype? I've always wanted to try those games out, I really like how they remind me of urban Just Cause 2, just wrecking havoc all over the place.

Though I've heard the performance is awful and nowadays I'd rather play a mediocre game with flawless performance than playing an quadruple-A game that runs like shit.

They are mindless fun. Great games to play when you've had a rough day and want to wreck shit on a massive scale.

The port of Prototype 2 is okish as long as you have a gamepad. Performance wasn't great, seemed to hover between 45 and 60 most of the time on my i7/12gb/GTX680 rig.

I distinctly remember a piss filter on my Burnout Paradise. But it's been a while since I last fired it up, so maybe not.

There's no SweetFX shenanigans going on in those screens, is there?

Crysis 3 is, right now, a MP alpha for a game that is still almost 4 months away without any netcode or engine optimizations. Of course it's going to be a little wonky. You're in the alpha to provide them with the data they need to optimize. Don't go in expecting a complete demo.

Alpha ... 4 months from release. Two terms that simply don't add up.

Can you tell me your settings, I have the same game and despite looking really good it doesn't look as good as these screenshots. Did you apply anything extra?

I played some Alpha and it looks really good tbh. Doesn't change the fact that MP is still pretty much boring. Will buy for SP for sure.

lol...only if you knew... It adds up a lot more frequently than you think.

Fun fact, I've seen games released that didn't technically went to beta. Went from Alpha to released... It's not the norm but it happened lol.

Nothing extra, maxed and down from 2560x1440. That piss filter is definitely still there, it's just not as apparent under certain lighting conditions (aka, when it's not bright day time -_-)
