Yup, and same thing with Dragon Age. I imagine it will be the same thing for ME3.

BioWare and EA accounts are one in the same now, unlike when ME2 came out, so its possible that the DLC will be sold directly through Origin and not the store.

How is DLC incorporated into ME2? Are they just extra quest material you run into during the game or what?

There's four DLC missions and yeah, that's how they work. You can do them (except for Arrival, which 1/2 through the game) at any point during the main quest as you just travel to the associated planets and trigger the quests. They can also be done post game if you prefer, as Mass Effect 2 lets you play after the final.

Arrival was written specifically as a post-game mission.

Yeah good point. Let's hope! I know that Origin can handle DLC (I have some with Shift 2) now we just need Bioware to do the right thing (Ha!...)

Skyrim. Still my favorite screenshot. Seems that with more mods it looks worse. May have to change things up.

SH3 looks great for a game of that age, but can't help and feel that SH2 aged better, maybe because nothing was really that close up in the game.

The cut-scenes look phenomenal, but they're letter-boxed so I've been leaving them out. I believe the PC version of SH2 also has higher resolution textures than the PS2 version, while SH3 uses the same textures.

So I've just finished HL, Opposing Forces and Blue Shift, about to start on HL2, are there any subtle, high-res texture packs?

I found the fake factory cinematic mod but that looks utterly blasphemous. Gives Alyx a low cut top and changes the music.

There are no high-res texture packs that aren't blasphemous. The textures have aged fine though.

So I am installing Crysis 2 right now. I'm running it on a i5 2400, 8gigs of ram and a Radeon 6870. Is it worth installing the DX11 and High Res Texture pack or this will just eat all my FPS?

Damn. I can't wait until I upgrade my desktop so I can have Skyrim look as good as it does here. Also, thanks to snuggler's missing link shepherd I'm off to play ME 1 on the PC.

Crysis 2 is fucking sex, but for gametrailers it wasnt worth nomination for graphics lol.

Obviously, it had to leave room for powerhouses like Dirt 3 ( which I have and think it looks great but come on... ) and Gears 3.

The gun porn, it's sublime.

Crysis 2 in motion is pure sex for the eyes. CryEngine 3 is incredible and the game looks unbelievably good. DX11 Crysis 2 stands next to The Witcher 2 as the most impressive game technology and realistic art, in my opinion. I cant really think of anything that comes close while pushing so many effects and shaders.

I agree, I don't know how but the dx11 patch really made me go from thinking that C2 looks great to it being, in my eyes, one of the absolute best looking games of all time. In motion it really is something else, one of the few games that I think looks so much better in motion that it reaches another level as compared to stills. The dynamic lights, the great motion blur, the particle effects the amazing bokeh dof etc etc, I really would love to make a gif or a short clip of just doing small inane stuff in the game that manages to look amazing.

Good pictures Corky

Thanks :)!
