Crysis 2 - wish that the "remove vignette" feature worked in the mod but it doesn't...

Very nice shots corky! But for some reason they look way oversharpned to me.

Thanks :) . That's actually due to me pressing the armor-mode button just before taking the shot, the in-game effect is that everything on the screen becomes sharper for a second or so. I don't like it that much come to think of it...it just looked really cool in those rain shots a couple of posts above.

for dishonored are you guys using the predefined settings from nvidia or did you download someone's profile?

Mine are 4xMSAA and 4xSGSSAA (0x000000C1) with -1 LOD bias in nvidia inspector, downsampled from 2560x1440 (cheating a bit as that is my native res, downsample as a courtesy)

Dishonored

Sorry for the lazy location. I know this area has been captured many times. I'll find something a little more original as I keep playing.

I already covered this - I hate temporal aliasing to the point where I will do anything to get rid of it, up to and including dealing with perhaps a bit more blurriness than is necessary.
It also conveniently helps to mask sections where texture resolution is inconsistent...

This is painful to look at, i have 100ppp set so i have to suffer through this multiple multiple times....if your eyesight is so bad wouldnt it be easier to just take your glasses of and sit further away?

I guess i would have to see this in motion to understand how it can be stomached

I'm sorry, Zyrusticae, but it's looks pretty blurry to me.

Nice shots.. But why only 1680x1050? :)
Downsampling for sanity and or styles sake, i believe Dennis native res is 2560 x 1600, so by downsampling the image to 1680 x 1050 the images look cleaner.
I dont know if 1680 x 1050 still counts as high res, but the images are damn clean.

I bow down.......this is the most graphically impressive thing ive seen posted in any of the High-res PC screenshot threads......Respect.
Bokeh would put this at godly status.
The texturing on these soldiers is damn legendary......how much Vram does this game use with this mod....id imagine even playing at 1920 x 1080 would be a squeeze with sub 2GBs Vram yeah?

Where is that? I beat the game with expansion and don't remember it.

After you beat Gwyn, instead of lighting the fire, just walk away.

Also, when it comes to Dishonored, does the FoV look absolutely suffocating to anyone else from these screenshots?

Opinion, I actually think these shots look interesting. You don't often see effects like this in the PC gaming world.
I love that effect, actually. I've played a number of games like this.

The softer effect gives it an almost film-like quality. When you play it on a TV and view it from a reasonable distance it feels sharp and super clean.
Well, at least someone appreciates them. It really looks better in motion than in a still shot, though...

Haha, no, my eyesight is bad enough that taking my glasses off makes it impossible for me to read the text on the monitor, so obviously that's not an option (and making the font bigger is such a horrible cop-out in terms of how much information you lose from word wrapping).

Like I said, it does look better in motion. But I'm big on anything that emulates the look of film and masks the fact that I'm playing a computer game, so YMMV.

Anyways, time for a change of pace (a.k.a. "C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!"):

(Yes, these are direct screen grabs. No, I'm not taking pictures of a CRT monitor. Yes, that effect is entirely intentional.)
