Players often say their knee is "75%" or "85% there. Butler said he's back to before the knee injury.

And he hasn't claimed any other injury I know of. I mean, every NBA player is sore and dinged up, but an actual injury affecting his play? I know of none.

Fine, he's still feeling the affects 15 months later. Does it change the fact that this season he has been below average? Which was the basis of the argument.

Nobody expected an all-star out of him. He looks like an older guy coming off a knee injury playing for a clown coach. Is that really so shocking?

This is where I have a problem with what you're saying. Like DY said, Butler isn't some young buck anymore and on top of coming back from the injury, had a grueling schedule to deal with. And he can say he's healthy all he wants...Tmac tried convincing people of that after his surgery and everyone knew he was lying.

Butlers stats before the injury showed someone playing at great level...Next year will be a better barometer due to easing back into a structured NBA schedule, not this 7 games in 8 nights shit.

First off, Butler wasn't playing at a great level before the injury. Butler has declined since '08. In Dallas last year before the injury he was nowhere near the Wiz Caron. granted, he was still much better than Clips Caron. But he was showing signs of declining and was certainly an NBA starter, but hardly playing great.

Second, TMac hurts your case since I'm saying Caron's athleticism being gone hurts him and it won't return at his age. TMac is a shell of the former player he once was.

Caron Butler is an old, declining player who at his peak relied on athleticism and was never elite and coming off a major knee injury. Those players don't tend to return to form ever again.

I'm not the guys doctor nor do i keep detailed medical records of all players.

But i do know that the clippers team whether it was VDN or through the media did say he was injured.
