The fact that Chris Paul averaged 20/10 for multiple seasons as a point-guard that only 7 players in the entire history of the NBA can proclaim to have done is remarkable.

The last time someone averaged 20-10 (assists) was back in 1993 before CP3 did it in '08.

James Posey got suspended 1 game in the playoffs for a hip check similar to Wade's flagrant. Wade is worse because he shoved from behind on a fast break.

So does LA dare double Westbrook of the screens and make the bigs beat us? Kind of like we did with Tony Parker a few years ago before the Spurs had so many shooters? This assumes Metta can stay with Durant lol

Or does Kobe just stop trying to play Westbrook like Rondo? The gameplan was to give the jumpshot all night and hope he missed or passed the ball. It didn't happen and we got killed. Kobe will have to play him a bit more like he does Wade.

I think we need a mixture of both while hoping Durant doesn't get hot from 3. Man, things looks pretty bleak lol

The jump from scoring in the teens to 20+ is exponential. So yes, it's a big deal.

Also, only three players shot 50FG% while averaging 20-10:

Magic, Kevin Johnson, and Chris Paul.

Only two players shot 50FG% while averaging 20-10-5:

Chris Paul and Magic.

That's what they gave Tyson Chandler for standing (still) and leaning into Lebron. Not running down the court at full steam with the clear and sole intent of inflicting pain on an opposing player, because he was pissy he got cleanly defended by Dahntay Jones and his flop was for naught.

That deserves a little bit more than a flagrant 1, my friend.

Nash Turns it over more, played with much better players, played zero defense, and didn't rebound.

Also, Cp3 got to 23ppg, not 20.

Force Westbrook to make a decision. He'll take an open shot every time you give it to him. Make Westbrook drive then his brains will be scrambled trying to figure whether to dive at the hoop, do a awkward jump pass, or pull up against 7 footers. The more you make Westbrook think, the sooner Worstbrook arrives.

if nash didn't have amare & co. those 2 years he'd have shot more and been over 20ppg easy

his assist #s would still probably be 10+. this year he's got nobody on that team and he's at 10.7apg.

this is why you can't put up arbitrary, symbolic thresholds like "20/10" to compare players. there's too many other variables at work

oh i agree 20/10 is just symbolic. I was just saying Cp3 scored a lot more, it wasn't 20 vs 19.

I disagree that Nash could have scored 24. At least not without giving up a lot of efficiency and team offense. Having Amar'e, JJ/Diaw, and Marion helped him get more open looks, too. He's much more of a spot up shooter than Cp3 who shoots off the dribble a ton.

Is there some official form I can fill out to avoid the asinine and obnoxious bandwagon fan title? I remember NFL-GAF during the playoffs and how awful they were about it, and there's little glimpses of it here. So I want to stake my douche flag firmly in Bexar county before the Spurs get any further.

Took off during the Spurs/Clips game. So the only exciting moment that happen was the Shook Ones song on the NBA commercial?
