Why does that matter? That's not the argument here, so why do you feel the need to change it?

I thought we were making comparisons between Jordan and Kobe here.
I don't know how we can make comparisons between Jordan and Kobe and ignore that question, unless the only points of comparison are going to be those irrelevant things like 1-month averages, 3-pointers in a game and stuff like that.

By simply not going that route?

The stats/examples were brought up simply to disprove a silly statement and was not an attempt to argue who was a better player or had a better career.

But hey, you're always welcome to hype MJ. The more the better. A couple decades worth of it just ain't enough!

So Rondo is having a great game, i start watching the game and he misses like 4 straight shots...

Celtic fans should pay me off.

This.

The Sixers are the eight seed in the 2011-2012 Eastern Conference.

Let that sink in a little.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the series will probably go unnecessarily long because its the Boston Celtics and thats their M.O. but I don't think there is a single valid argument behind believing the Sixers will win this series.

You either have to be a Sixer fan or have a really, really high opinion of Spencer Hawes to think that Philly stands a chance.

They stand a chance.

Allen has bone spurs that can come back on him at any moment. Pierce has been up and down a lot this post season. The most consistent has been KG. And i don't have a ton of faith in old KG. But he looks good so far this post season (Like TD, he's looked much better in the post season than the regular season).

It could all catch up with the Celtics.

But the 6'ers basically need Evan Turner to play well. Which is a huge wild card.
