Remember when Turner was considered good because he gotten lucky hot in a couple games?

Remember when Turner was picked over Favors by the 76ers?

Do you have any statistical evidence saying otherwise?

He ain't that good. *shrug*

If Ray and KG didn't show up, he'd only be a slight notch above McGrady.

Shit, he probably didn't even deserve that Finals MVP. Ray pulled the weight that series.

I'm talking about Rondo.

Pierce was that good. Hell, Kobe wouldn't have done anything on those Celtic teams. We were playing O'Brien ball.

He's gonna be pretty good. His shot is spotty, but he'll have a big next year.

Also, there's no question if Rondo continues his current pace he'll be in the HoF.
I'd love to see him continue his current pace, and win games, without three amazing players sharing the court.

The NBA has to switch some Eastern Conference teams with some Western Conference teams. They have to. I don't care if it makes geographic sense or not.

I'd like this.

Any rumors on why the Heat canceled practice? After losing like that and all the hubbub about Wade, that doesn't look so promising.

He's a super inefficient, ball dominant player with bad athleticism.

Not sure how good he can be with those traits.

edit: Philly with momentum so how about a behind the back pass to no one.

rondo isn't a hall of famer. Shit, Pierce is barely a HoFer...

Its hilarious how much you act like a Heat fan.

I meant to respond earlier but had to stop when flashbacks to Indiana/Orlanda hit me again and forced me to dry heave.

Indiana's passing is not underrated. Its bad. Maybe one or two steps above Sacramento - and its another reason why I hate the team. They don't fully utilize West's ability in the pick and roll and instead opt to simply run a play at the high post which... isn't going to do shit but put West at the high post (which more times than not is the only movement that takes place in that set - which happens to be one of Indiana's go to plays). It limits the options of the offense. And I have no idea why Vogel is so content with putting Granger in the corner and just letting him sit there while this happens. Its like real motion in an offense makes his head hurt.

Also, Hibbert is a good passer. But again, it doesn't matter because the placers where they get him the ball don't allow him to take advantage of this. Vogel TRIES by having Hibbert sit at the top of the paint in a pathetic attempt to draw out opposing bigs, but no team respects Hibberts shot enough to bite consistently and Indiana's off-ball movement is below average outside of Hill.

But we can be LLL bros.

Haha. I act like a Heat fan. What does that even mean. Anyway.

West isn't as utilized as well in the PnR as he's capable of, true. But that's mainly due to Collison being forced too far up by the switch by big defenders. Being replaced by Hill has helped, who has been better at it despite not being a true PG. In fact, even with Hans dragging it down, the Pacers have a PER of 17.7 from the PF position. The highest positional production on the team. West gets wide open mid-range shots all the time, which is he is very effective at.

Granger sits in the corner for a lot of sets because his biggest strength by far is being a spot-up shooter. He can drive some, but it isn't the strongest point of his game and he defers to others to drive quite often to kick it out to him.

Hibbert does draw the bigs out actually, and it's one of the reasons the Pacers are an above average offensive rebounding team despite not having great rebounders. They are 5th in the NBA with a 29.2 Offensive Rebounding Rate. And they do that by pulling their 7'2" C out. Pretty neat huh?

Their off-ball movement is sub-par, sadly, that was the 1 thing Dunleavy brought to this team. Still, their rotational passes are effective which gives them a lot of open looks at the 3 and to get to the line where they take advantage of their FT opportunities. That's just being solid and fundamental with what you have.

It makes sense.

Emotions are probably still riding high from last night and everyone (Wade) need to go sit down somewhere and take a break from basketball.
