How is "Danny Granger is best utilized as a spot up shooter" worth anything less than an insult? There is more to basketball than spot vs drive. I never said he should drive the paint like Carmelo. I said that him not taking advantage of the fact that so few in the league have the tools to guard him physically is nothing more than a testament to Vogel's inability as a coach.

And no, you say that offense is effective - I say its ugly as fuck. Almost everyone who's seen it says its ugly as fuck.

BECAUSE HE IS GOOD AT SHOOTING WHEN STANDING STILL. That is not deserving of an insult, that is fact and a very useful talent to have. He has no post game like Carmelo does, your comparison is terrible. His size as a SF is not that special and is in fact quite common. I have no idea what's in your head with that one. Paul George as a 6'10" SG however...

And Granger is a veteran with many years in the league, Vogel didn't make him the way he is. He utilizes Granger as he's most comfortable. Being very effective at knocking down open jumpers. And driving occasionally to try and keep defenders off-balance.

And whatever, you can call it 'ugly' as much as you want. It works. That's what matters. I never once made a claim that it was pretty, only that it was effective. You seem to keep acting like it's not good, when I have shown that it actually is. If you want to continue to be hopelessly stubborn, no problem with me. I'm bored of it anyway since the main detraction is OMG UGLY!!!

I can see how a Pacers fan would be excited about his team performing well and killing the league's "evil" (Since you know, nobody ever cares about small-market teams. not even the market in the market) but damn, saying they are efficient or good on offense............there are way more other things to say good about that team.

they've looked better than the heat on offense

How long have you been an Indy fan? Because Granger did a lot more than spot up before fuckball started to take over. There aren't many SF's in the league with the frame to guard Granger either - and he took advantage of that once he got going in his 3rd and 4th year.

But okay. Him taking 3 steps back is because he's being used better now than ever. Sure.

and @bolded: exactly why I hate the Pacers more than the Heat. I hope Tony Parker sleeps with all of their wives.

the pacers offense isn't efficient or good.

they win because of their defense.

not their offense.

i have no idea what you're on about.

The Pacers did finish top 10 in offense because they draw fouls better than anyone other than OKC, but I doesn't seem like it would be effective at all against a lot of good teams.

I hate to be the person that says this, but if the Heat lose their next two, then the Celtics better lose their series too.

I demand a Pacers-Sixers ECF, if the Heat goes down, we're bringing the damn league with us.

is kevin garnett a hall of famer?

lol really? he is gonna be first ballot in my opinion

Yeah, I cant watch the Celtics. I just go into full blown hate seeing Pierce, Rondo and KG together.

Ray's fine. He's still a sonic.

What are you guys smoking? KG is easily HoF.

Has the stats, has an MVP, and a championship. If Chris Mullen who had none of the latter made it, then KG is a lock.

LOL. The how long have you been a fan question. Yes Granger's 09' and 10' seasons were his best, but it wasn't because he was playing much differently with his amazing frame. In fact, he was shooting on average 2 more 3 pointers a game and 4 more shots total a game. OMG STATS my bad. More options have come forth on offense since those years (check out those rosters) and he has made a role a little bit smaller. I wouldn't mind seeing him expand his role if he had to, but the fact is his FG and eFG% has been on a decline for a few years now. He peaked and has settled into a slightly smaller role.

Okay, you hate the Pacers, fantastic bro. Real mature discussion there.
