Good effort.

You can deny it all you want but you know it's going to happen. It was predetermined before the series started. Did you expect the Thunder and Celtics to go a combined 6-0 after being down 2 games each ?

Even if they don't win tonight that doesn't mean they can't win Game 7.

We took teh 12th man from the Warriors and Bobcats and are going to play them 30+ minutes in the western conference finals. I said damn

I just wasted 2 minutes of my life replying to his messages. He's a conspiracy theorist.

I'm convinced that these games are rigged. The Spurs and Heat were dominating in the first 2 games of their series and all of a sudden they both lose 3 in a row.

Anyone else expecting the dramatic Heat and Spurs wins in game 6 to force a deciding game 7 ?

I didn't predict shit, I said it's possible if they win one this year.

Find me anyone who doesn't think it's possible that OKC can win 5+ rings if they win one this year.

This Spurs team with one of the best big man in the history of the NBA only has 4 rings.

Nobody on OKC is even close to prime-Duncan.

Plus one of the best coaches and best front office in the history of the league.

He doesn't realize how hard it is to keep a championship team going.

True, but Durant could be that could.

He isn't. But could be.

Durant could end up being Kobe good.

If the Spurs win out, the Heat need to call up Eva and sit her on the front row.

So she can first hand watch TP fuck someone else?

I also think the Spurs will lose. As good as they've played, OKC is one run away from a close finish and their crowd will push them over the top

Oh man, you just know there's going to be a furious comeback by OKC. That Durant three pointer at the end was a bad omen. Hopefully the Spurs can hold on to the lead someway, somehow.

This doesn't look like a 5 ring team to me. I think they could win a couple with this core possibly but 5 nah.

So a team with their entire core under the age of 24 that wins a ring has no chance of winning 5 total?

I get how hard it is to win one, but again--I never predicted anything.

Durant will never be the influence defensively that Duncan was -- or hell, even is to this very day.

Duncan was 22 when he won his first.

Eh, no one will ever be that influential if they're not a PF or C.

But he's not a bad defender in his own right.

Possible? Sure. It's an incredibly boneheaded thing to say though.

With Dallas under the cap and stocking up, Minnesota on the rise and Utah is not so far behind too AND Bulls and Miami in the east..........I would also say it's a boneheaded claim to say that OKC would win 5 without even winning there first one. People forget that miami is also a few bench adjustment from being a terror tooo.

Or a decent coach away. Could you imagine Pop coaching that Heat team and milking every last drop of usefulness from that bench?

Let's say they win it this year. Very soon your team's cap room will be maxed out. Sure, you can still make a trade or two and sign some mid-level free agents, but you will have little room for error. You won't ever get any quality draft picks. You have to assume your core play at their current level and won't let complacency set in. You also have to assume there will be no major injuries. And then you have to assume the other 29 teams don't make improvements and none of them capable of making a team that can beat you 4 out of 7 times.

That's a lot of things to assume for your 5 titles claim.

The biggest problem is you don't even have a coach that can win you 5 rings, but that can be fixed.
