That Goodwin is a quality big man.

Louisville needs some sort of interior presence. Harrell can dunk the ball pretty hard, but he doesn't create much on his own. They really miss Gorgui Dieng's midrange jumpshot more than anything I think. As of now it's just Russ Smith and Chris Jones trying to break down the defense with an occasional 3 by Hancock.

This has been my criticism of Pitino this year, just taking off my Big Blue blinders. Even when they had Chane, they didn't really post him or Harrell up much, and just let the guards and Hancock run wild. Not sure if Harrell has any post moves, but at least post him up so maybe he can show something and get open looks for Russ, Jones and Hancock.

Really baffles me why a HOF coach like Pitino is not seemingly doing anything about this.

If UF somehow manages to beat Arkansas this weekend, then the sky's the limit for this team :p No Prather due to a bruised knee (glad it isn't worse than that), Wilbekin with a sprained ankle so may play but only limited minutes, and Young with sore knees which means his minutes will likely be limited as well. Just when I thought the Gators were getting healthy, this all happens :-\ Oh well, at least there are no season ending injuries but I feel bad for the UF bench which will somehow have to manage Arkansas's 40 minutes of hell short handed :p

Yeah, I'm not going to expect much against Ark with the injuries. I think they are a decent team at home, although outright awful on the road.

I have no idea what the fuck is taking the NCAA so long to clear Chris Walker. UF cleared him academically mid-December. There was some talk that he got some improper benefits to take a recruiting trip to Kansas, but that should have been like a 3 game suspension thing. He has sat out 5 games already with no end in sight.

Some good games today (+ NFL playoff games). I want to see which version of UNC shows up at Syracuse.. Would be great to see them pull the upset.

Also hope UK handles their first road conference game well. Only an 8 point favourite over a pretty bad Vanderbilt team.

the puzzling question is how did we beat MSU, Kentucky and Louisville.

UNC caught MSU at a time they had multiple injuries affecting players. But also, Roy Williams always seems to have Izzo's number, and MSU's rebounding this year has been average at best due to lack of front court depth.

Gators hold on to win at Arkansas in OT without Prather and a gimpy Wilbekin and Young. What a win! Go Gators! :-D

Edit: Hopefully Chris Walker will be allowed to play soon as the NCAA continues to drag its feet.

I got grudge sucked!
I don't know if its more sad that Duke is losing at Clemson or that I'm really not surprised that Clemson is winning. I predicted a 10 pt Clemson win 3 days ago on TDD and people thought I was overreacting.

I am more shocked at the realization that this team is worse than the 2012 Austin Rivers team and it is not close.

So does Zona really deserve to be #1? Their best victory was against Duke, which now doesn't look so good. Oh, I guess they beat SDSU too.

So that's why 90% of Duke games are at home.

Playing on the road doesn't make any team magically better. Shitty defense is shitty defense regardless of where its played. Bad play caught up with 2007 squad regardless of where they played, it will catch up with this one too.

Ok guys, I'll stop busting your chops for panicking now. I'm gonna wait until we lose a game in Cameron I think, but we look pretty bad at the moment. Then again, the 2010 title team dropped its first 2 ACC road games too so...

It's also hilarious that GT beat ND today after we blew GT out by 22 and lost to ND by 2.

K has gotta shake things up and start giving Marshall 10-15 min at this point, right?

All 4 North Carolina ACC schools (colloquially known as "the Big 4") went down hard today.

Syracuse 57-45 over UNC.
Clemson 72-59 over Duke.
Pitt 80-65 over Wake.
Virginia 76-45 over NC State (who actually played at home).

Give it up for tobacco road, everyone.
