The bestest of the best that is now the enemy of my porch has a stake in my FT team - Liverpool - so this will be an awkward but pleasant experience at the same time.

Nah, I follow the EPL fairly casually...mainly a fan of all the Argentine players in the league over there. I stumbled upon Tottenham six years ago and it just clicked. I've got lots of respect for Gerrard and Suárez (even though he went Mike Tyson on that guy).

My "real" team has been River Plate since 1987 when I moved to Buenos Aires. If it weren't for the internet and the irregular Fox Soccer Channel broadcast, I'd have no idea what was going on down there. No love for that league in America. It's all EPL over here.

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
This should be a fun game for the Rockets hah :|

Hey, everything I pick is bound to be bandwagon at this point, but I never saw one post recommending Seattle - so shame is on you.

There is no Seattle Sonics. If/when they return...well that will be a rough decision for me then. So much nostalgia. But who wants to cheer for Sacramento's scraps?

Yes, thats right. Prime Tim Duncan has not only never won the award, he's never even been in the top 2 in voting, and is frequently out of the top 5. There is no minutes argument here either; he averaged 37 minutes per game in those years, while barely missing any games.

This is the guy who..

Is the all time leader in Defensive Rating

Will finish 2nd all-time in defensive win shares (currently 5th -- only a point away from 2nd)

Will finish ~4th all-time in blocks (currently 8th)

Will finish top 3 (maybe 1st) in defensive rebounds (currently 4th)

Has anchored some of the absolute best defensive teams of all time; incl. 1999 and 2004, who are statistically among the most impressive.
