Carmelo did call out his teammates in the media, and right now is being stymied by Vogel's plan of "whenever Carmelo is in HIbbert/George are on the court". Dude has to get some help... let's review:And Melo isn't? Melo has been fucking dreadful. If we had the Melo of April, we'd be coasting.
Felton: Went 1/8 on a bad ankle, gets a pass since he's the only legit threat besides Carmelo who starts.
Shump: Bad game, but definitely is an X-factor with his rebounding/matchup on West.
Cope: Not playing despite having a good matchup vs. Pacers.
Novak: see Cope, but to a lesser extent.
JR Smith: GOD DAMMIT JR
Kidd: Has not scored a point since April 23rd.
If Knicks had the JR of April they'd swept the Celtics and been up at least 2-1 on the Pacers. Defenses get much better in the playoffs and let's just say JR has played himself back into Knicks affordability next season.
