Who should I start at my flex?

Desean Jackson

OR

Ahmad Bradshaw

Desean is coming off an injury and facing his old team (Philly) so I feel like he'll play his best, but he has a new QB throwing it to him (no established chemistry)...Bradshaw has looked good this season and plays against a poor run D Jags team on Sunday. I think he'll still be splitting time with T-Rich to some degree this weekend.

I just don't know what to do...

I think DeSean will do very well against Philly, but I'm one of those eternally pessimistic Eagles fans. And it's a bit of an open secret that Cousins is a better passer than RGIII.

But I would still probably go with Bradshaw, Indy will probably get ahead early and try and milk out the clock.

Auction Waivers :

How would you rank these claims - Bradshaw, Knile Davis, Doug Martin?

I saw Martin was dropped in my league...is he really that bad?

That job should belong to Rainey, but the coaching staff is just dumb and stubborn. It'll be his job sooner than later.

12-team .5PPR where we start 3WR and a Flex, would you guys want to own Harry Douglas or Davante Adams.

Keeping in mind I own Roddy White.

Anyone think it's worth dropping Fitzgerald for DeSean Jackson? I'm in a standard league.

No? I don't know about that one. I wanna say wait another week but you don't have that luxury I'm sure. We're not even sure he's playing this week (Jackson).

I hate these Thursday games, have to make decisions way too early.

Have D Thomas, Crabtree, Vincent Jackson, Sammy Watkins and Welker and can't decide who to play.

Thomas is a lock even though he is against Sherman, and I think Welker is right out in his first game back. I think Watkins is the best pick out of the remaining 3 against the Chargers.

Jackson has been terrible fantasy wise so far this season, but Crabtree is up against Patterson.

I think I am leaning towards starting Jackson, Watkins and Thomas but I dont know.

This is just a yahoo public league, so 10 yards per point, 6 for a TD.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, that's the issue. Fitzgerald hasn't done much for me and Jackson says he's gonna play this Sunday (of course anything can happen), but I think someone will pick him up after this week if I don't act. Either way, thanks for the feedback!

[Edit]: Forgot to mention -- I believe Jackson has more upside beyond this week. That was mainly why I was interested in picking him up. He's still a big play threat, imo.

Ok FantasyGAF, Flex advice needed.

Here are my options:

B. Rainey (RB - TB) @ATL
D. Brown (RB - SD) - @BUF
N. Paul (TE - WAS) - @PHI

I feel like the running backs both have greater upside, but one could be playing on a Tampa team that is down early and the other is, well, Donald Brown. Paul seems like the safer pick, but tight ends are sporadic at best. If it helps, it is a 14 team, 0.5 pt. PPR, 6 point for all TD league.

What do y'all think?

According to "reports," Rainey is starting tonight over Martin. I'm in a similar boat and I'm taking the gamble on starting him. Just hope it doesn't come back to bite me since I'm benching Gore against the Cards for him.

(As a niners fan, I hate that matchup in every possible way...)

FWIW Brown will probably be getting most of the snaps that Mathews was getting (they got 46 combined last week and 30-some in week 1). If Chargers get ahead quick or if Rivers decides to check down a bunch he could be pretty valuable, especially because I dont think Woodhead will be running much against the Bills defense.

Have to decide on at least Rainey by tonight. 5.PPR, pick 3:

Lacy, Stacy, Rainey, Bradshaw, Vereen.

I'm glad I have options but with 2RB and a Flex (with Green hurt I'm light at WR) it's tough to decide!

I have 4 options for my FLEX and need some help picking which one to go with (it's a 12-team PPR league):

Michael Crabtree @ Arizona
OR
Shane Vereen vs. Oakland
OR
Zach Ertz vs. Washington
OR
Khiry Robinson vs. Minnesota

Thanks for the input folks. I am probably going to wait until I am sure Martin isn't playing tonight before I make the call and even then, it may be a coin flip. If the Bills stunk this year, this would be a no-brainer for Brown, but the terrible ATL run defense keeps taunting me...

It sucks that I have to make this call tonight because if I miss on Rainey, I am going to be annoyed for the majority of the weekend.

Ah, gotta love the fantasy life.

I have this exact dilemma on my hands deciding between Rainey and Brown, and I have Doug Martin to boot. I am too going with Brown, as I don't like to rely on Thursday game players, but I get what you mean about missing out if Rainey beasts on Atlanta tonight.

Edit: The latest note I read suggests that Martin likely won't be active. That makes playing Rainey really tempting.

Running back Jamaal Charles, who suffered a high ankle sprain in last week's game against Denver, was participating in the early portion of Kansas City Chiefs practice Thursday.

His availability for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Miami is uncertain. But Charles' quick return to practice is an interesting turn of events.

Charles went through warm-ups with his teammates and was then tended to briefly by trainer Rick Burkholder before joining the running backs for position drills. One such drill involved cutting through cones to catch a pass. Charles did this several times and appeared to pass these tests without a problem.

Reporters are allowed only to watch warm-ups and the portion of practice involving position and individual drills. The Chiefs will issue an injury report when practice has concluded.

Charles did not work on Wednesday as the Chiefs started their practice week.

i will laugh so hard if he comes back this week. i mean, i'll be really happy since i'm a chiefs fan, but tons of people spent half their faab budget on him.

Only thing that worries me about the Rainey vs Falcons matchup is well, it's Thursday night football.

You can't start Steven Jackson tonight right? My team is decimated at RB/WR

Current setup:
WR1 Andre Johnson
WR2 Michael Floyd
RB1 Sproles
RB2 Bush
Flex AJ Green or Steve Sr. if Green is hurt

Bench
Steven Jackson
Hawkins
Moreno/Ingram :/

Where are you guys at with A.J. Green and Jordan Cameron this weekend? I'm WRs aren't super great, but I have Gates as my 2nd TE.

Have Green in my flex, waiting on news. Coach seems to think he will play but Green seems more hesitant, which is kind of weird. My backups are Steven Jackson and Hawkins so it's not like I'm giving up much with him there.

I wouldn't start Jackson. Falcons are running a committee at RB right now.

Yeah, he sucks. I was hoping to get good value picking him up late but he's as much of a waste as any of the scrubs around him in the draft would have been. I wouldn't even mind if he goes off big today on my bench because it would make him a decent flex option, which he isn't even close to now. (This is a 12-teamer, but still.)

Eh, Ertz maybe? I dunno. All shaky starts, still trying to figure out if I'm starting Khiry this week.

I have Maclin at my flex.

Andrew Hawkins
Terrence West
CJ Spiller
Donald Brown
Niles Davis

should I put in one of those guys instead? If Tate is out again I'm leaning heavily on putting in West

FYI Roddy White is Out. So if you had him starting change him out ASAP. You have 30 mins till the game starts locking him in. Glad I looked.

Good Trade or no?

Marshawn Lynch for Antonio Brown and Stevan Ridley

My other RB: Bradshaw, Bush, Joique Bell, Stacy, Chris Johnson

My other WR: V. Jackson, Kennan Allen, Decker, Cooks, Hopkins

I wouldn't say it's a bad trade but I'd trade high on one of your RBs for someone to replace Brown. He's match-up proof and now you're left with nothing but potential. Allen and Jackson might show up eventually but they really haven't yet. Decker is likely injured.

You were kind of fine at RB but now you're slightly better and you potentially downgraded at WR.

Joique Bell or Leven Bell?
I'm doing that deal if it's Levean, but not if it's Joique

Thank you both for the replies.

Damn I almost picked up Harry Douglas. I should listen to my last second gut-decisions.

Someone offered me VJax for Victor Cruz, I don't know if I want to give up or Cruz just yet. Should I do it?

Pretty f'in happy so far that I picked the same lineup for 4 Draftkings games all of which included:

Matt Ryan and Julio Jones

I knew they'd have a big game at home vs. TB...Didn't seem TB being this pathetic though.
