Should have been the subtitle of the game, IMO. Without Vaan, the game would be a 10/10. It's like they were future proofing, you know, can't have another FF VII on their hands.

Yeah I seem to crash aswell with sweetfx in x64

Use 32 bits executable or use 64 bits dxgi.dll from bolotaur's sweetfx.

for whatever reason, my downsampling resolutions don't show up in game, so I haven't got that to work yet.

You CAN use SGSSAA with the game. It AAs a lot better than downsampling+In game AA does.

But edge quality isn't as clean as downsampling.
