2014 NBA Playoffs |OT| Men lie, Women lie, Bagels don't.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Just want to point out Joe "Worst GM in sports" Dumars screwing over the Pistons one last time. New coach/GM gets no first round pick.

why is this not the Bucks owners daughter

It's not rigged. If it were rigged you really don't think LA or Boston would have gotten the pick? The NBA knows Cleveland is a hell hole that is run by a certifiable moron. The problem the NBA has is the lottery system in general. It encourages tanking and doesn't discourage teams and owners from being terrible. There should be a penalty from being in the lottery so many years in a row.

Right. The lottery doesn't make sense as a whole. The worst team in the league should be automatically rewarded with the #1 pick, no questions asked. And it should go in order from worst record to best record.

So the Lakers can't trade the pick outright due to NBA rules, which might work in our favor. We can wait, see who is available, and if it's not our guy, draft for Minny if they want to do a Love trade (assuming they haven't traded him already by then).

Teams tank now for a chance at more ping pong balls. That will make it even worse.

Why is Bucks daughter trending on twitter but not Kings daughter? They are both smokeshows but the latter is objectively hotter

If the Bucks are smart, they will take Embiid. But they are dumbfucks so they will draft for "need" because of how badly they need a SF (you mean, like the guy they took number 1 overall last year?) and take Wiggins or Parker.

Then you have blatant tanking. Worse than this year, but every year. Like the Colts tanking for Luck. The lottery is the solution to that. PEACE.

I'd agree with you if the Lebron wasn't going to be a free agent. It's clear the league wants that storyline ("The prodigal son returns home to win a championship!") pushing ratings for an entire year.

That would be a colossal, year-long story. ESPN wouldn't shut up about it. Huge publicity. Much more than "Lakers get #1 pick."

I don't see why people are upset about the Cavs getting the pick. There's no fucking way they don't screw it up. Dario Saric first overall.

LeBron's not going back to Cleveland. That's a pipe dream. Especially not to play with a bunch of underachieving youngsters, a shitty 2013 no. 1 pick and an unknown 2014 no. 1 pick. He wants to win titles, not help teams rebuilt. Anybody with common sense knows he's staying in Miami.

Lakers going to draft Exum

Exum needs to pull a Kobe and refuse to workout with other teams. There is a mutual interest there from LA too.

The only good thing to come out of the Cavs getting #1 is that a team that actually tried to make the playoffs got it.

Just sucks that it was the Cavs.

That's not a definite at all.

Smart move for LeBron is to opt into next year with Miami as long as they keep winning. You don't break up the chance for a four-peat. If they lose to Indiana or San Antonio/OKC, then maybe.

I figure the run in Miami continues as long as they win. If they lose, things change.

What is definite is that he's not leaving Riley and Miami to go play for a moron like Gilbert and the perpetual chaos that his Cleveland. Having to carry and drag a horribly put together team into the playoffs is why he left in the first place. Why would he willingly go back to that? Especially for the last third of his career when he will likely need great teammates more than ever. It's not even his real home town!
