This is Kentucky. Stay close and wear teams down in the second half and win it at the end because you have a team full of guys that want the ball at the end of the game.

Naw, he's 6'9", but he's real strong. He thinks he can handle the ball better than he actually can, but he's a great athlete. No reason he can't improve his ball handling at the next level, he figured out this season that he can't slash all the time.

Anyway, Hurley was the better floor slapper

I think people who haven't watched him all season also miss his jump shooting touch.

He has a legitimate jumper, he just hasn't been able to showcase it as much because that isn't what we need him to do. It's similar to Anthony Davis, he has a much more complete offensive game than he has shown in games.

It doesn't. So why did little man turn around and flop on someone? Haha. Then again, Duke knows what to do when a Kentucky player is already lying on the court -- dive bomb.

Naw, if Laettner had gone full Cobra Kai, they'd have to dig a tunnel to China to get Timberlake out. instead, he showed mercy

I didn't say he can't shoot. I was just talking about his driving - seems like he's been turning the ball over much less later in the season as a result of cutting down on it. He is a prototypical (modern) 4 from an offensive standpoint in terms of tools.

I'm still having trouble thinking of a comparison though. Stronger Millsap maybe? They actually have pretty similar games. It's hard to tell what Julius will be like on D at the next level - mostly because you can almost never tell from the college level.

The AD comparisons are unfair for anyone. He's a freak. LMA O + Rodman D right now.

That's true. It was a pretty gentle stomp, and Aminu Timberlake has more vagina in his shorts than Justin Timberlake gets in his bed.

Well Zbo comparisons seem the most accurate to me. Millsap or boozer are good comps as well.

And I wasn't comparing him to AD directly, merely that the way UK uses big men does not show off their entire skill set.

For those that think Badgers can't play a high scoring game. The Badgers are the only team in nation to win a game this season scoring in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 100s.

The Badgers are well adversed for any tempo.

Yeah, he was getting stripped a ton early in the season, but he's learned to pick his spots better.

I also think he'll actually benefit from the floor being more spread in the NBA. Defensive 3 in the key rule plus way better outside shooting may give him a little more room than in college.
