To be honest, it shouldn't be hard to offload him on someone. He's a good, often great goalie in the regular season. A non-contending club would be happy to scoop him up.

He'd be solid for the season, which is what they're looking for, and then even if they made it into the playoffs, the lack of pressure to perform would probably improve Fleury's game too.
