2015 Console Screenshot Thread (PS4, XB1, Wii U) [READ OP!]

Can I request an Order shot with foliage? I'd like to see some if it has any. (Patch of grass, a tree with leaves, etc.). The graphics look great but I've seen so many shots of black and gray.

I doubt you're going to get what you asked for. There aren't many green areas full of foliage in a game that's set in Victorian London. :P

Actually, there was one area of the game that was in a courtyard full of foliage...but it was at night. XD

is that a native res capture of Ryse? It is looking pretty blurry there.

That's upscaled resolutions for you. That and the fact that it has very heavy motion blur, making crisp shots difficult. The Order has the same problem.

Edit: Never mind, remembered that X1 captures native res shots. Must be the motion blur.

No it doesn't. It's always 1080p, even if it is being upscaled. If anybody is showing the shots in the game's native resolution, they are the ones changing the size.

Its Victorian London, I'm surprised the population could breathe nevermind a few plants.

On top of being upscaled from 900p -> 1080p, it has a super aggressive motion blur filter like The Order. Getting decent shots is a nightmare lol.

Yeah, its the kind of thing that looks amazing in motion, with all that high quality blur, but it makes taking screenshots pretty tough.

How come you upload your shots to photobucket, doesn't that site add tons of compression?

That last shot is insane btw. My God.

I have a full member account, so I'm not sure if it still applies. Possibly. But I just like the how easy folder management is with the site.

I see. I never seem to be able to view your shots full-screen, whenever I try and open them in a new tab it redirects me to the site.

Hover over the image and a set of options will pop up in the top right corner. Click the magnifying glass one and it will go full resolution.

I think this is more so an issue of the upscaling than motion blur. The character appears to be standing still in that shot, but I can see how being in motion screws things up. However when standing still in the order it does not look as a blurry for whatever reason.

It's because it's 900p instead of native 1080p, plus it also has a fair amount of post processing. The Order is still native 1:1 pixel mapped on 1080p TV's and monitors, so despite it's array of post processing effects that soften the image somewat, it's still sharper than Ryse overall, though not by a massive amount. Durante actually did some detail analysis tests in this post here.

Ahh I figured the order was doing something a little different. thanks for that.

Thanks for the tips guys! I'm glad you all can see them now.

Excellent vehicle choice :)
Your picture isn't unlike this one I posted earlier.

I haven't unlocked it in Driveclub but it's fun to drive in Forza Horizon 2.

Awesome shot, I noticed it earlier in the thread.

And yeah, it's such a fun car to drive. Very tight and grippy.
