A totally nonscientific comparison:
Well, it works for me. You have to know that, at the moment you double tap the guide button the screenshot is automatically captured, so it's before the game pauses. When you press Y to save the moment. Despite working, it's still hard to double tap while playing. Sometimes, I press more than 2 times or less and it goes back to the mais screen. It's kind of a mess, lol. But be patient and you will get how it works! Show us what you can capture later!
The double-tap captures before it brings up the game/system overlay menu. It's how everyone here has been getting their KI shots. Pressing Y saves the previous image, not what you're seeing at the snap overlay.
This game looks bonkers. I love this art-style.
Genuine question, but does The Order 1886 image on screen look as soft as the pics?
I'm not talking about the objects in the distance, Even the main character where the camera is 4 feet behind him looks a bit soft. Is this the PS4 capture/compression/jpeg??
I'm running into the same problem with Ryse. Tons of motion blur is applied so lots of my shots are a blurry mess. Not always. It's a very post-process heavy game. It's hard to get decent shots because of how much blur is applied at the slightest movement. I guess them being JPEGs doesn't help either.
It is something else in motion, though. Felt like I was playing CGI for most of the time.
Damn this thread makes it clear every game should have option to turn off HUD and possibly hide character model. Great way to make us gamers market their game by having us finding those perfect shots, that make particular game shine and look interesting.
Probably the best game of the gen so far for me. Excluding remasters that is.
This, please Sega. Those SO environments are gorgeous. These Sunset Overdrive pics makes me wish for a Jet Set Radio Future remake
I also noticed that the small painting on the wall was reflecting the window and wooden banister that were behind me.

Man, those are some nice shots! Good job on managing to avoid the blur that we see on so many other shots. The detail on Gallahad's outfit looks great.
It's the hardest thing lol. Galahad moves around way too much when stood still, and even the tiniest amount of movement results in motion blur. I've found only two moments during his waiting animations where he monetarily pauses, allowing for a potentially cleaner shot, but the timing is hard. Really if he were perfectly still, I think the detail would likely still be greater, but it's difficult to gauge without less compressed shots.
Yep. But those shots are extremely well done. You sir are an artist. I'd imagine the upcoming photomode will remedy the motion blur issues. Honestly, photomode is going to bring a multitude of new screenshot possiblities to the game. I can't wait!
