2015 Console Screenshot Thread (PS4, XB1, Wii U) [READ OP!]

Wow, that's pretty cool.

On another note, I'm pretty shocked with how great Sunset Overdrive looks in this thread. I mean, I know it looked really good when in motion when I was playing it but with the gameplay I never really stopped to smell the roses so to speak, and apparently if you stop and look at stuff the stuff is gorgeous.

Yeah, after seeing some of the shots posted in this thread I regret not taking my time more with it. I didn't rush through it, but I never stopped and appreciated it fully either.

You really should play it! Colourful game with tons of fun, so different from the stanard triple A titles of today.

Heh unfortunately I don't have any next-gen console yet and I doubt xone will be my first purchase (I grew with PlayStation so I have some bias towards this brand and most probably will buy PS4 at first:P), but yeah, it's cool to have now some screens from both platforms and not mostly PS4.

Oh and, more DoA screens are always welcome by me, you know, for wallpaper purposes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

How to fix Xbox One limited Screenshots

For some reason screenshots are not being saved properly so they are viewed washed out on PCs.

Open PhotoShop and changes the Levels: - set the lowest point to 16 - set the highest point to 235

Save your image and upload to an uncompressed host like Minus (not Imgur). No need to switch to Full to get proper levels and introduce crushed blacks.

Man watching these screens from Sunset Overdrive... it really did grew on me. These screens are awesome, I don't remember being that amazed about the ones from various previews tho.
Same here. It still has IQ issues obviously, but an incredibly appealing art style, which more than makes up for it.

Not trying to port beg, but on the chance it does come to PC, being able to crank up the IQ would produce some seriously pretty stuff.

Halo 4 looks amazing, it's really great to play it in 1080@60fps on the One.

Beautiful shot.

How do you take vertical shots?

You can rotate the camera with shoulder buttons. I think. Can't remember exactly how it was but it was there in the controls.

Not really satisfied with the composition but hey, it's a learning process. I feel that us real life photographers can learn a lot from photo modes in games. Of course real life photography is a whole another world, but the basics are there. A good photo is a good photo.

Should start First Light soon but after taking Second Son to 100% I feel that I need few months to recuperate.

Dang!!! When I swapped the original hard drive on my Ps4 for a 2TB one, I forgot to also save all my Killzone Shadow Fall and Infamous Second Son photos. But that was before the update that gave us the ability to copy screenshots to usb.

Man, I wish R* would make a zombie survival game.
I wish they added the cheats from San Andreas that gave all NPCs weapons and made them chase after CJ. It would be amazing to see the scale of that in Los Santos on next-gen GTA V. Maybe Rockstar could releasr it as DLC, although I highly doubt that will ever happen. We can dream though.

Those shots look rally washed out to me. Do you have your X1 set to limited RGB?

They do look really washed out.

People shouldn't have to switch to Full to get normal colour, none of the PS4 pics have this issue like any other device in the world.

Some other games like Aliens really suffer from this.

That above SoM pic is rough.

2D Preview (Which looks pretty awesome IMO)

And 3D Viewing link (Works on android, PC with silverlight, and possibly iOS/WP?)

I'm not as happy with the output on this one, it's 40 photos stitched together but they are all USB grabs from my PS4 Share Button. The image fidelity is worse than I wanted, and there are some seams that didn't line up well (as well as some mountains that didn't render properly). PNG please Sony.

*worth noting I wanted it to be more accurate to real time rendering, so I didn't sit and wait for the post processing to finish for the images (there were 42 of them).
