Witcher 3 is the only other looker I can think of. Everything else has been average in comparison.

Edit: Driveclub, duh.

No, and no...

Those games are far behind the ones I mentioned. The Witcher is beautiful, but very blury (AC:Unity, too). DriveClub is sometimes beautiful, sometimes not. Here, I find it really meh:

+ Ethan Carter + Until Dawn

Mmmh... Maybe Ethan Carter, I've not played it yet, but what I saw of him did not impress me at all (very detailed, clean, but it seemed old gen), and Until Dawn is not really impressive. Environnements are really dark, we can't see anything. Those are good looking games, but not as beautiful as Ryse or Killzone SF imo.

yep. basically there's no difference between gameplay and photo mode in terms of visuals. In photo mode you can adjust depth of field, add some color filters and that's it. AA, level of details, etc. – all the same. This is why Infamous Second Son still impressive to me.

It's true for all games besides racing games.

Look at this page, you really think those Witcher 3 screens aren't looking good?
And DC can have some rough moments, I think that any game does, but the best moments in DC are some of the best ever, it definitely deserves to be on that list.

And show me one last gen game that looks as good as Ethan Carter c'mon man, Until Dawn looks beautiful as well, just look at the uncompressed pics.

Shame about the lack of AA, but I really like the simplistic polygon art style.

Managed to make it all the way up to the huge waterfall, only for his right arm to suddenly lose all grip and I fell to my doom. :/

It's easy to find a game beautiful on a screenshot. I talk about games in general.

The Witcher is beautiful, really. But a lot blurry, the draw distance is disappointing, there are a lot of texture pop in etc... Until Dawn is beautiful in those screenshot, but not as beautiful as Ryse or infamous, and in game, animations are rough and outdoor environnements are really disappointing. DriveClub is beautiful by night, with rain. Ok. I admit. But in daylight, the game is not as beautiful. There is a lot of aliasing. And for The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, I've just watched a lot of screenshots and videos. Indeed, It's beautiful. Mea Culpa.

TW3 runs at 1080P (on PS4), what's so blurry about that?
DD is not amazing but it's still a great looking game.

UD looks better than Infamous and Ryse visually, it doesn't mean it's more impressive cause the scope is really small but character models are MUCH better than both games.
Environments are looking good, though not as good as the models but still good enough, game can often look like pre rendered imo.

DC can look beautiful during day as well, but it depends on the time of day, there are better lighting conditions than others in this game.

Photomode, no filters

There have been a lot of impressive vistas so far this gen, and Avalanche kept the train rolling with this game. I haven't even seen the eastern or northern parts of the map and have already taken so many screens. What the game lacks in texture detail it makes up for with amazing skyboxes, strong lighting, great views, and great color.

I think that's been recompressed, not a direct USB transfer.

Speaking of which, in most cases PNG SHAREs to twitter should stay in that format when viewed and you can get the full 1080p picture by adding :orig to the end of the filename instead of :large.

Code:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CN6HcuFWgAEWZ5d.png:orig

[IMG]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CN6HcuFWgAEWZ5d.png:orig[/IMG]

There might be a 3 or 4MB cap above which twitter automatically makes a JPEG from the uploaded PNG but most screenshots aren't that detailed.

Incredible the difference the PNG feature is making. How does it look sharing through Facebook? Still look like shit?
