How unique is the Wild/Blues series this year in how many blowouts there have been?
Game one was competitive, a 4-2 win for the Wild (two empty netters), but all others since have been complete shit shows.
Game 2: 4-1 Blues
Game 3: 3-0 Wild
Game 4: 6-1 Blues
Game 5: 4-1 Wild
Now, you could argue that Game 5 was closer than the score suggested and that Dubnyk bailed the Wild out (and you'd probably be right) but the other three really weren't close. Just domination from the winning team.
If it was one team demolishing the entire series that's one thing and is probably somewhat common in NHL history, but trading back and forth like this has to be something that rarely if ever happens, right?
