There's nothing wrong with singing the anthem before a game... If nothing else, it's a perfect transition from everyone wandering around and talking to everyone focusing on the ice/field/etc. It's like the curtain being drawn at showtime.

Rangers are going to dominate his series if this is how the lightning play.
HNIC is always a little old fashioned and loves looking back, largely because they've been around forever and have a long institutional memory, so it can be a little annoying when they constantly stroll down memory lane. But SN has Kypreos and fucking Healy around so they can't go 5 goddamn minutes without asking Kipper for another Messier story or some such bullshit. It's agonizing.
When the Rangers scored the tying goal against the Caps in game seven the commentator (I think Galley?) literally mentioned the 94 Rangers in his first sentence. Just awful and lazy.

Oh dude while I have your attention, can you please wear the C for Ducks-age for Game 1? Just checked the roster for the week and I'm on late shift at work, if I watch live then I have to be running on 2 hours of sleep. Hate watching this delayed but it's my only choice.
