2015 PC Screenshot Thread of the Only Place Where Compression Isn't

I made a joke a long time ago that this game was made by Skyrim modders, and scrolling up from the bottom with no title, I was 100% convinced these were modded Skyrim shots.

Definitely it has that vibe, but thats not a bad thing, the grapich engine is very solid, good framerate and stunning visuals for a mmo.

To add my two cents - considering it's an MMO, the tech looks fantastic, but I'm really not a fan of the aesthetics. This is why games need good, professional and cohesive art design. The best looking games are the ones that leverage the technology to fulfill a high quality art style. I definitely wouldn't consider comparisons to a heavily modded Skyrim as a positive one, considering 99.9% of Skyrim's screenshotters have no idea of what makes good visuals and just throw graphics mods together with no appreciation towards achieving a good look.

And some of the worst CA I've seen....

Thats more our fault than the game itself, the game have a ton of filters to put in and you can adjust the dof strength which also increase the CA tied with it and then play with that settings, its one of the best photo mode i have seen the only problem its that you cant stop time which is understanble begin a mmo instead you have a slow motion key, anyway imo the crown of worst CA still resides in Dying Light :)

btw i found some more skyrym flora xD

There was no CA in the original beta of Black Desert, so not sure why it's in the local release.

It's one of the most gorgeous games out there, MMO or not.

But being an MMO, so open and with so many players, it just makes it even more impressive.

It's another step above Archeage which looked great for it's time.

Actually, an open world locally played RPG with e.g. 20 local enemies in view should have a harder time rendering the lot than an MMO which client renders simply what the server sends it (as it doesn't have to do AI for the local enemies / other players, as that data is coming from these players themselves).

Never understood the whole 'it's an MMO so gfx are of course not that great' mantra, there's no logical reason why they should look worse than local games, on the contrary.

Nick, do you have a torrent link to the 4.0 version of the HD Textures for Crysis 2 ?
I want to replay this game with this mod.

Some of my old screenshots of Crysis 2 with Maldo 4.0 :

Crysis 2 || MaLDoHD 4.0 || Reshade Framework || ini.tweaks

Does anyone know what the best AA solution is for this game? I've tried all sorts of combinations and I think enabling post MSAA and Edge smoothing makes it look blurry as evident in some of these shots. SMAA through Reshade and AFx16 through my driver seems to looks bettter without having to downsample but it's still not perfect.
