^Now I am convinced I have to play through Mirror's Edge again for like the 6th time. It's so beautiful.

mod links on this site led to linkbucks and tried to download a bunch of executables just fyi

Yea when I used that site to look for mods I had to cancel those downloads each time and skip the ad to finally get to the real page. Pretty annoying.

No, dude, that's not what it means.

Some of the textures in this are alright. Not amazing, but better than I expected from a low budget UE3 arena shooter in early access.

That's enough of that for now. I don't think the game will be a very big hit. The weapons..... aren't very fun. You need fun weapons in an arena shooter.

I just started playing throught the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games for the first time and I'm amazed at how good Shadows of Chernobyl still holds up with the Autumn Aurora 2.1 mod and ENB installed. I tried Call of Pripyat witht the Misery mod, and not only is it too hard for me, but I don't think it looks nearly as good as Chernobyl with the Autumn Aurora/ENB. I really miss the DoF from the ENB. I tried using the DoF from ReShade but I couldn't get it to hook.

So, what do you guys think about The Order 1886 when it comes to graphics ?

All that film grain ruins the IQ in my opinion.

Also, it's not a PC game, so bringing it up here is kinda pointless.

Of any thread on GAF, this one is home to those with the highest graphical standards, both in terms of straight up graphical tech and artistic vision (and that's not just me blowing smoke up my own ass). I don't think that wanting to get everyone here's opinions on the matter is pointless at all.

Personally I think it's probably one of the most photorealistic games I've ever seen. Right up there with AC:U (in some cases) and Ryse. Animations are great too and I think they go a long way towards giving you the sense that you're watching a movie with actual actors and not just 3D models.

It's far too blurry for my liking, and I'm a guy who will usually turn motion blur to the highest possible setting. The black bars are annoying. Obviously they're there to improve performance, but if a "cinematic" format is necessary, I'd rather have an ultra-wide resolution instead of simply cutting off the top and bottom bits without expanding on the horizontal screen space.

Besides that, I adore the setting and the aesthetic style. They're both my favourite of any game. It's just a shame that they're tacked onto a mediocre game that runs at 30 FPS and won't be coming to PC. The graphics could be better - there are quite a lot of low resolution textures, a lack of general detail, and the loss of most of the destruction is very noticeable when compared to old videos, but they're very good anyway. I'm amazed that the devs could squeeze so much rendering power out of such an underpowered system.

Yeah. If you could downsample it to remove some of the aliasing and grab a few screenshots think it would straight up look potorealistic at times. Easily the most graphically impressive game ive ever seen. It craps all over Ryse, and Ryse is beautiful.

1886 is one of the best looking games aside from image quality. I'm sure we'll see a lot more like 1886, ACU, its really things like lighting moving on, good but no big deal, graphics are evolving. DA I and Ryse are good too.

Really like this look, even the CA on the edges doesn't bother me too much. Actually from what I've seen the visuals are impressive, especially on character models.

Forgot to mention, that CA is from whenever you're being shot at. The game also has CA under normal circumstances, but at least that can be turned off in the menu.
