It's good to see you in that thread, your technical knowledge is always interesting to read.
I want you to see something which amazed me last night, That picture I took :

Just look at how the light is diffused through the slim edge of the windshield.and how the flags are reflected, purely astonishing !!

Thx mate. And yeah, that glass material is fantastic. It is pretty darn rare to see glass in games that gets any of these properties right, let alone actually can be lit!

Are these actual gameplay or are they captures from cutscenes? Dont see any HUD/character in there thats why I am asking.

First screenshot has a reticle in it if you look hard enough. Just wall hugging during gameplay and HUD off I guess. You can disable most of the HUD and still have the game be quite playable in The Division, at least in my experience.

the Division looks sweet.
Too bad there's little in there for a SP only guy like myself.

What happened to the devs implying there would be options to have better graphics vs better framerate ? anything like that in the retail version ?

Damn you are right! ;)

Does the game look improved over the beta or is it just me? I feel like it is closer to the reveal video (not matching it though). Can people who play confirm the improvement?

It's not just you. There's definitely an improvement.

Basically this lol, they are both 100% gameplay!

Does The Division have a dynamic time of day? I'd be very impressed if the lighting isn't baked. I have no interest in playing the game but graphically it looks phenomenal.

After a long hiatus, I will continue to share my pics here. For some reason, I couldn't upload my pics on Imgur but it finally worked today.

The character models and material shading have aged badly in the Metro games, but there are still some beautiful parts, especially on the surface of Moscow.

Really atmospheric, superb shots, makes me want to continue my unfinished campaign of this game...

Thanks, the Metro games have such a thick atmosphere, and great gunplay. Anybody interested in a strong story driven, single player, fps, should pick Redux up. Both games are crafted so well, a true labour of love (apart from them damn flying bastards that pick you up and throw you about the level!, man them things a buggy)
