What's 6 + infinity? That's a lot of jiggaflops.whynotboth.gif
So, did I read right that crossplay with the likes of Gears of Way is only for co-op? Can't play deathmatch or competitive crossplay?
I'm cool with it...kinda. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making that up. Couldn't find it anywhere to confirm. For obvious reasons.
Sea of Thieves, We Happy Few, and the build-your-own controller announcement were the only things that peaked my interest. In my opinion, the rest was pretty meh.
What's the poll in reference too? Been busy as hell all day, no time to watch the conference now either![]()
Forza Horizon was the best thing shown at MS pressed by far.

Once again MS proves they are bad at showing of demos of their games.
Just caught up on Sony's conference. Pretty excellent.
It's becoming apparent that Microsoft is hurting right now in terms of internal studios.
We may not see all of Sony's announced games hit the market for a few years lol, but at least they have the internal studios to work on games other than the same franchise over and over.
Some thoughts a day after.
Content wise, it was an average Microsoft conference. Some interesting games here and there, some boring and draging portions here and there. Nothing too exciting, nothing too bad.
Messaging wise, it felt like the funeral of Xbox as a console. With everything coming to PC and Project Scorpio officially announced to launch next year, what's even the point of Xbox One anymore?! I did not have much intention of getting an Xbox One for myself, but the conference just reaffirmed that I will never get one, and if I had one, I'd sell it as fast as possible. Without a drastic pricedrop ($/199), I expect Xbox One sales to completely tank for the next 16-18 months.
Project Scorpio is an Xbox One so how is it the funeral of Xbox as a console.
Everything is coming to PC, that's how. By the time Scorpio launches in 16-18 months, Xbox as a console will be irrelevant. I don't think officially announcing Scorpio so early was a good idea.
Yeah and all the people who prefer consoles and like MS titles are going unanimously decide to start gaming on PC

If you have a decent gaming PC, sure, you'd have a lot less of a reason to get an Xbox, but not everyone has a gaming PC. How much will the S be, $399? It's impossible to build a PC that's comparative to the XB1 at that cost (CPU+mobo+GFX card+casing+peripherals), so MS's console is not pointless. It still works as a quick and easy way for the average consumer to get into current-gen gaming.Messaging wise, it felt like the funeral of Xbox as a console.
