2016 PC Screenshot Thread of No Compromises

Oh..my..god. That's probably the most amazing character model I've ever seen..check out the foundation on her face and the make-up! Incredible!!

The Witcher 3

Cropped hence the so so quality. (Can't swivel my monitor so can't be bothered with custom resolutions for portraits let alone getting my monitor to accept the resolutions above 30Hz ). For some reason the UGM mod leaves some weird shadow banding like effect when I turn it up high, so I had to edit his face a little in this pic.

I've been talking a lot about the facial animations, but credits also to the designers of Lara herself. She looks amazing in this game.

I know right. Especially in the right lighting it looks absolutely amazing. I loved TW3 character models, but this is just another step beyond that.

That's slick. Too bad there's doesn't seem to be a definitive answer for LOD. Too bad CDPR isn't throwing access to Blood & Wine stuff around, because it'd be wonderful to jump into that with all the mods compatible day one. This mod in particular.
Also, I really wish you could force the cutscene lighting (additional shadows being cast, not dissimilar to the detailed shadows option found in ENB series), but I don't suppose that'll ever be an option.

Well, there are mods to enable cutscene lighting.

Well these shots look like an actual videogame.

I have no idea what dark magic CGI version of the game Rubmifer is using but that's certainly nothing like what the game looks like on my PC. Awesome shots though.

The one in her white coat is ingame. The others are cutscenes, but 'custom' shot though :p

Difference between cut scene lighting and in-game lighting. They're using a lot more lights in cut scenes. Most of the time, the in-game lighting you get looks worse. Like....

looks flat as hell (no SSS). Sometimes it looks good in-game though. Those 3 shots at the top of the page are in-game, albeit from the same area.

Rise of the Tomb Raider || 4K || ReShade Framework || jim2point0's CT || Hattiwatti's camera tool || 4 shot pano ||

Have to add that second one again. They roll nice together.
Just needs a green third one.

Had to turn some settings down after getting sub 60 more than I'd like. I think my character looks pretty bad ass in the first shot. :)
