Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask, but I've looked around and I can't find an answer... What software are y'all using to take screenshots? I can use FRAPS to get screenshots at 1080P but if I'm downsampling (either traditional method or enabling Nvidia's DSR) and I try screenshotting with FRAPS, it crashes whatever game I'm running. I've been trying to get 4K shots of Witcher 3 and Final Fantasy X and it's annoying that the game just keeps crashing on me. Printscreen seems prohibitive, since I have to exit after every shot. Any other software or fixes for FRAPS screenshotting above default resolution?

I'm using MSI Afterburner for taking screenshots. Using "*" for getting screenshots without any problem. You can try that.

Origin,Steam,Uplay all have built in screenshot function. I use Raptor software for video but I'm not sure it works with Nvidea cards???

I use MSI Afterburner. I'm already using it for overclocking so it makes sense to capture screenshots too. You can save as BMP or PNG and have them be saved wherever you want. It will even capture post processing from things like ReShade. Currently grabbing ~8K shots of Doom with it.

Can you play at 1080p and mkae it take 4K screenshots without having to change the resolution in-game?

There is no tool that lets you simply take higher resolution screenshots than whatever you have the game running at. Some games have a built in high-res screen capture, but that isn't very common.
What I'm doing with Doom is increasing the resolution for screenshots and going back down to native for gameplay.

I think that nvidia is adding that feature in drivers soon. Or it's separated app i am not sure.
Tho. only few games will support it at launch.

I've been messing around with panoramic screenshots lately. "Hugin" is the program I use to stitch things together, but they almost never turn out properly.
I'm going to try out this Photostich/Autostitch program to see what I think.
How are you guys getting a free camera in Dark Souls 3, though? Cheat Engine, or something else?

Many thanks! I used this for Dragon Age, but had no idea it worked in other games.
Any idea if this sets off ban filters in DS3? Should I only use offline?
